  2. Nice pics yardo! that tricycle motor might be your best work yet! I'm surprised o'l mini mack left you with your grill still intact well I better get back to work .....got a polar vortex headed our way in a few days, I need to check antifreeze in about 20 units
  3. that wasn't my thong it was Reds! don't tell Ken he'll be hart broken. I was using them to feed apples to the horses .....(kinda like a sling shot) well any how the one side came loose and spanked o'l Red who was bent over getting another apple outta the bucket , anyhow she thought I did it on purpose! so she grabbed them outta my hand and gave them a toss, that's when they got hung up in the trusses, then ken came out and removed his kilt and tried to knock them down with his kilt .....and well you can figure out the ending! Glad to hear you gave them the ol'e what for and then was able to walk away.
  4. Should we call the local police to do a welfare check? seems strange with another week passed still no Mark.
  5. T.M.I. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now excuse me while I go poke out my minds eye!
  6. Ken: both the Mennonites and the hutterites out here use new equipment no steel wheel requirements, must be another of the "east" things
  7. Yep buy it for .03 per pound after they spent 50.00 per pound to transport take 9 pictures of it and write a generic report that tells you nothing of importance about it and list it in the auction!
  8. FWD your phones ringing ! YO...... Randy to the courtesy desk please! ............Car 64 where are you?
  9. hope you charge by the hour as well as by the mile, nothing better than a good cluster phuck to make your week. I typically never got roped into any thing like that except for days that ended in Y.
  10. Leslie : did Amish rules change, I didn't think they used "modern" farm equipment, or once its at least 50 years old its ok? Perhaps one of the poorest Hutterite colonies in the states? anyways quite the train stationary thresher, square baler(couldn't tell how it was powered) and a couple of wagons to load with straw bales. looks like some nice driving weather, warm enough for the snakes anyhow. thanks for the trip
  11. this looks like the truck I saw on craigs list in cashmere wash. I think they were asking $3500 Did it move east?
  12. welcome ! nice project
  13. you know a air leak could take days to find by yourself, by the time you pre trip and post trip there has got to be 15-20 min. worth of drive time left! Could you imagine using 2-3 tubes of grease on just s cams and slack adjusters ! every night you would have to plug that truck into shop air or start work 2 hours early just to build 300 gallons of air .
  14. Brady: good luck with the search! how's things at flat head lake? my global gap inspector (food safety auditor) was headed to your neck of the woods when he finished with me last Friday, to audit cherry growers for Monson fruit in( Selah Washington) some of the flathead growers send fruit to the same warehouse that I do.and part of my labor crew go there to harvest cherry's once they finish with me. Hope you chase down the truck .......... oh and by the way welcome to the dog house! there's a bunch of great guys here and if that trucks still out there I'm sure that a bunch of eyes will be looking for it! As quite a few of us look for family trucks and try to help them find there old homes!
  15. cant believe that they would do all that out side and then not do a upgraded interior, like a restyled corvette dash or some rosewood inlay.
  16. every thing EAST of the continental divide is eastern to me
  17. are you getting FULL throttle at the pump? the lever on the side of the pump that the throttle pedal linkage hooks to should hit the internal pump stop , and then OVER TRAVEL a little as the throttle pedal hits the floor/stop.
  18. ah.......a load of good Junk!
  19. Kansas is that a 91 or 92 series red steiger?
  20. I see one non common trait from the old photo and the newer ones TOO MUCH PLASTIC ! even on the trucks
  21. Maddog : thats why I switched I used to wear red wings, then Chippewa then hawthorn, then whites and finally nicks I almost always bought the best boots I could afford , but when I could no longer get a year and a half out of a pair I would switch boot builders my last nicks had 25 months on them and needed to be resoled ,since I don't oil them as often as I should I needed them rebuilt, ......but they still lasted 9 months longer than any other high end boot I could find......guess that's why nicks has a waiting list, and whites(another custom boot builder in Spokane) don't.
  22. that "Night Chrome" is awesome stuff you can weld and grind on it and make it so no one can tell
  23. this eastern terminology kills me ! these are what would be called 4 axle dumps out west a tri axle would mean 3 drive axles. when referring to a truck. a standard 3 axle truck would be advertised as a tandem. ! or twin screw.
  24. the problem is Ken I would wear out the door hinges taking it on and off, every hill still needs full flow the problem is the down hill side causes it to over cool 4 or 5 miles of down hill with the dynatard on and I'm at 130 degrees
  25. I'm sure the robot does a better job with a caulking gun tube of structural adhesive than a compensated employee why is it when the tree comes from Washington the truck comes from Pennsylvania? and now the truck comes from Washington, and the tree from Minnesota........no wonder this country is broke!
