    That one looks like it's a working truck but very well-kept.

    I remember seeing them on the road when I was growing up, of course not nearly as many as B models or some other trucks. This is one of my grandfather's trucks, I think he just had one 3000. The photo was taken sometime in the 50's but no date on it.

    A lot of guys will run a hose into a 5 gallon can and strap it behind the cab just to get the engine running and test it.

    I'm not sure it would fix your problem, but you could save them on your computer and then try to load.

    Definitely possible. It may not have been the driver's fault; could have been a combination of things.

    I've seen a lot of mods made to truck wiring over the years...it's usually more of a trucker than an electrician that cuts into them!

    There doesn't appear to be much rust on it...that would be an excellent project.

    I would sure like to see an H model on the highway! I haven't seen one out on the road for at least 20 years. For some stupid reason or another I always miss the big shows where these are.

    That is a sharp-looking truck and a super handy bed unloader. I wouldn't want to get my fingers in between those gears though.
