  2. No the lid would have to come off to do it correctly! If you remove just the small rear cap it would be just a look see thing!to clean out any oil ect! you can try it!

I would be checking the air pressure at the shift lid forward hose on the small cyl should be around 70 psi ! you could also as stated remove the end of the rev cyl and check for oil build up! also due to its age consider removing the shift lid and re oring the whole unit ! Not really that hard to do in a CL !
  4. They might give you national fleet price on the Volvo lube or you can try the jobber branded stuff ! Less lubricity though ! 😁

  8. I believe there was an elite trim package offered back then! Usually a wood grain dash! Made of real plywood. That usually went along either the yellow! Kevin may chime in with better info for ya!😇
  9. Are you using the Eaton Easy pedal clutch? If so the clutch needs to be set in this order ! To take advantage of the Over center nature of the easy pedal clutch you likely already know this however I will state it again ! Set the cable so the clutch brake engages RIGHT AT THE FLOOR! THE LAST 1/2 TO 1/4 inch should be CLUTCH BRAKE ONLY! Then adjust your winder inside so that you have the 1/2 inch - 9/16 Gap at the release bearing as required to achieve the necessary 1- 1/2 free pedal in the cab ! If its set this way Then ,I don't have any solutions to your problem other wise I have never ran into the 3 week issue your claiming here Fuller or Mack trans other than a bad cable! And I been at this a fair few years! just sayin!

  13. Tech BE NICE now 😂 ! If it is a mack trans it sounds like it is You could have ! A loose trans yoke bolt check that first ! if its tight the trans lid has to come off to check to see that the shift rail bolt has not come loose! Not a field fix! Chances are the range pack is worn now eitherway the trans needs the back section off it and repaired and unless you got tools for the job you can't do it inframe Trans has to come out!😒 Wild can take over from here. Poke poke jab😀 don’t worry buddy your not alone!

  15. check the charge air system if there is nothing odious , check the compressor hose inlet it is likely plumbed into the manifold! common failure!
  16. Yup we needed A turbo for an MP 10 during the strike there wern't ANY anywhere ! One Dealer Had one here They managed to talk them out of it However This shit is quickly becoming Extinct too!
  17. They were used had the sealing washers stuck to the tips! Yup saw that post guy had to be some pissed over that deal! just can’t see in coming cores being mixed in with new shit don’t understand??? How does it happen!????
  18. Last week we had /still have a unit in the shop! 2006 c/x ! Needs injectors ! We Order 6 NEW Injectors from Mack ! Wait 4 days to get them ! Finally They come Whoho ! These come in 6 seemingly brand new Bosch Boxes! We open these Bosch boxes to find one brand new injector And 5 old and rusty injectors with the sealing washers and orings stuck to them!???? HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN! you can imagine the disappointment to the customer having to wait yet another 4 days for his unit! How do 5 old injectors get put on the new shelf ! Were They returned from a dealer trying to pull a fast one? What created this situation? Now I see why Reman injectors such AS THEY ARE come in a sealed bag! Dam it !!!! We had this situation happen years ago with a V8 Cam And a cam bushing stuck to it ! Things haven't progressed much in 30 years !
  19. K I could be wrong here However! i Kinda see this heading the wrong way here ! The chance of a boost leak that changes form large to small and back again are very slim The only one that could have produced a variable intermittent boost leak you have checked the ( air drier )has been by pasted ! Yes The gaskets can blow more often a hose lets go However! just a note if you had turned the engine a bit with shop air on it there is a spot in the duration of the cycle that everything is almost closed you would have been able to build pressure on the whole Charge air system manifold and all! Having said that. While Driving And when the power goes away and your giving it full throttle, Is there a cloud of black smoke behind you? THAT would indicate a boost leak! Can you give a more clear description of what is happening and what your seeing when it happens !With no codes ,this is presenting it self as a condition that the puter thinks is just fine ! A wire shorting to its mating wire (torque limit) switch or boost sensor or a bad ECU! all are looking more likley! Just my thoughts
  20. His issue could simply wear and just not enough volume of oil! huge delay for oil pressure to build as well the jake heads could be worn to the point there is to much oil passing the slaves! My question is How long of a grade are you on with the brake on and engauged ? I would run a temp TEST wire with a light to ground on the jake wires on the head to identify if indeed the Solenoid is being powered while the engine is at high RPMS this will put to bed an ECU issue as Wilbur is suggesting and then you can focus your efforts on the mechanical aspect of this if need be! This issue is most commonly A physical Volume issue ! Just Sayin! 😡

  22. Good Find Pro ! How ever Curtis not necessarily ABS wires that rubbed on the box there Curtis ! The wheel code would not likely dial back power However the other code you have may ?? Best thing to do is go where people are sending you here ! All of these fixes Are Real life Experiences ! Not written down in a book anywhere Just shit people have come across over time Pro and Tech and All the guys here Are awesome At passing on experiences! All ya got to do is give each experiance a try till ya find the one that works! Just saying !😂
  23. The torque switch is a switch on off if it’s open it’s in active if it’s closed it triggers a computer response!
