  1. Looks great. As large as it is, I think it would cause problems if someone who is lactose intolerant were to get within 10 feet of it. I was born before cows were invented, but at least my neighborhood was flat.
  2. Maybe it was my exposure to cb at an early age or my desire to turn the clock back to the 1970's, but I own several cb's and there is always on in the big truck and my work ride. My current inventory includes: Stryker 655 in the big truck. Cobra 29LX, the regular radio in the car. Cobra 29 Classic. Cobra 25 Classic given to me not working. Did a little studying and bought an $11 soldering iron at Radio Shack and is now backup radio #1. Uniden PC22. Given to me by someone that didn't want it anymore. Something loose, works sporadically. Keeping it for nostalgic purposes and it's probably an easy fix. Fuzzbuster A50?. Not working, came with the PC22. Royce XXX. Can't remember the model #. but was made in 1977. Picked it up along with a base at an antique store in town. In very good condition. It lights up and makes noise but not much more. Future project. Royce XXX. A base station, also from '77, in brand new condition and the reason I paid $40 bucks for the 2 radios knowing that one wasn't working. Works great and is currently on the front seat of my car. Yep, a base station in the mobile. I'm turning into my dad. I'm also the proud owner of a bunch of stuff that's broken, worn out, and/or fried that I can't seem to part with.
  3. Boll Weevil, but will answer to Bo' Weevil or Bullwinkle for those that struggle with it. It was my late father's handle since the early 60's.
  4. Well played.
  5. if the id plates are correct, that's not the original engine. The ENDTB865 is a V8 Maxidyne while a DM815 would've come from the factory with an END864 V8 Thermodyne. Your current engine has much more torque than the original.
  6. Swift will hire him straight from the womb.
  7. Congrats on the new ride. You've clearly moved up in the world. You are however, going to have to learn some basic Mackology. Your truck is not a Vision, but a Pinnacle. It has a larger cab than a Vision as a result of the back wall being pushed back a few more inches. It also has a nicer interior, IMO. Best of luck with it. What are the specs?
  8. No Schneider truck I've ever driven could relocate that much concrete without getting my attention. The new owner must've had the power turned waaaay up.
  9. Yeah, I thought the RS in the serial number stood for Rong Side.
  10. Nice 2 pointer.
  11. Nice catch on the Penske cabover, suv, and pine trees.
  12. Extra points for spokes.
  13. I thought he had passed. Glad I was mistaken!
  14. The new Pinnacle I drive didn't cost much more than that. Then again, it's a plastic, ECM, EGR, DPF POS that was 1 of 135 on that order.
  15. Set the trailer brakes, pull forward, release the trailer brakes, and get the shit delivered. We pay by the load.
  16. Well, I learned something new today!
  17. They may not have been the best looking trucks, but Dodge made some cool stuff back then.
  18. Ol' Dopey ain't as dumb as everyone thinks. I've been playing pinball between Washington and Harmarville, PA & North Lima and Cleveland, OH this week. The worst I've seen was a about 2" on the OH Pike between Youngstown and the PA line, so no complaints. The thermometer on my dashboard dropped to single digit for about 10 seconds this morning, just to piss me off I assume.
  19. Dammit, same job for me would've required 20 cuts and a 30' piece of PVC. You could probably do well if you were to write a home repair book or mass produce some of your homemade tools. I laughed so hard at that, I spit fingernails all over the 'puter.
  20. Dammit, I thought you put a '77 front clip on it. I wouldn't have noticed the extra width of the bezels if you hadn't mentioned it, but after a second look I think you did a better job than Chevy did with the '77. The front bumper looks good from the side view. Almost Laguna-esque (Laguna-ish?).
  21. Best of luck in your new job.
  22. they've done some quality work on those trucks. I like the tri-color Dodge.
  23. Getting to first base is a lot nicer than I recall.
  24. No, this guy good. He from states.
