  1. Nice find! I think that bumper hurts the value more so than the dry-rotted tires. I thought KW made the Bullnose all through the 50's but the newest I could find was a '58 and then '59 K100's. Maybe this is one of the first.
  2. WooHoo!-Mowerman 2010 I finally caught this elusive puppy after being teased for about 20 years! I first spotted it in the mid-90's during a repaving of I-79. I've since seen it maybe 6-7 times but never under the right conditions, I either didn't have a camera or the opportunity only lasted a second or two. Today, it was loading busted up concrete for the job of replacing the handicap ramps on the curbs, just a few blocks from my house. I circled the block on 2 wheels and jumped out and grabbed a couple of shots, unfortunately I only had my Iphone. It's a 77 and despite talking to the owner for about 5 minutes, I DIDN'T GET THE SPECS!! Anywho, here's one not so good shot and one crappy shot of this beauty. The best angle would've been from the middle of a very busy intersection. I know what your thinking and no, I'm not that ambitious.
  3. What more could you ask for?
  4. Kick him in the crotch? Al Gore invented the crotch!
  5. Beautiful! Keeping the exterior nice is one thing but it's not often you see an interior in such good condition.
  6. Sorry for your loss, Mark. Howard was very fortunate to have you as a friend. Good to have you back!
  7. We have been in an "ashtray on a motorcycle" phase since '08 and it won't end until '16. Our President views amnesty and citizenship as deterrents.
  8. I've always liked the livery of the earlier Jevic trucks. I would never had guessed they had 18 speeds. You could've showed some compassion and found something for the GMC girl to wax.
  9. Now how f#$%ing hard is that?! I wanna live there.
  10. I would've left her there if I was on the way home to watch paint dry. She's never going to learn if people keep helping her.
  11. There is definitely room for improvement to the interior but I give Peterbilt credit for acknowledging there is still a market for classic styled, customized trucks.
  12. Congrats on the new job. It sounds like a step in the right direction, although whatever is happening in your barn would be enough for me to wanna spend more time on the road.
  13. I stand corrected. You have driven a truck.
  14. Very nice. Good to see another Brockway put back to work. Apparently you do know something about Brockways.
  15. AMC designed the Pacer to make a Gremlin look good.
  16. You would risk a late delivery to help a fellow human being in distress? You either have no soul or have never driven a truck! Kudos to OD for having his priorities straight!
  17. Nice! I see a few of my favorites: '69 Camaro and Firebird, '63 Riviera, '67-'68 Cougar, Gremlin.
  18. All this talk about Amish and Mennonites. When I look at that driver and his load all I see is "Sleepwalker: The Early Days."
  19. The black and white Mack belongs to mail contractors EC Stanton or Sodrel. They seem to be the same company. Their trucks are always clean and whenever I see them the lead axle is up. She has a very nice gap to gain access to the water.
  20. That system served me well for years and I've always had jobs that would have me on my feet 50-75% of the time. The problem now is my feet have grown in length in the past 20 years, from size 11 to 13. Podiatrist says it's an age thing. Unfortunately, the width hasn't kept up and most retail stores simply do not carry anything in size 13B. I buy shoes online now from Lehigh or BA Mason.
  21. I almost broke my finger hitting the like button on this one. Beautiful!
  22. They could fail quickly if put into regular service where heat, weight, and mileage will be much more of an issue, even on a trailer. Maybe someone with a farm truck for example, can use them for running around town? Look at the bright side, the cost of these was about $38 per year.
  23. Very nice, even have spokes on one.
  24. The R model stripes look good on the Granite.
  25. I drove a 5 speed CH with with 4.64 rears and I believe lo-pro 22" tires. It would run 65 at around 1475 rpm and at 1800 would have up in the high 70's.
