  1. That's where this is heading if we don't get some strong, educated, unbiased leadership where we need it the most. It's gonna be a long 2 years.
  2. The only "friends" you will lose are those who are racist, blind to the obvious, and/or cannot look at incidents like this objectively. No loss there. Kudos to New York's Finest for standing together as true brothers and sisters do in a time of crisis. It's sad they have enforce their ban of DeBozo from funerals so soon after enacting it.
  3. What you are witnessing here is how the educated, civilized members of society react. It's more subtle and won't end as soon as the news crews go home.
  4. It's been 13-14 years since I crossed it which is why I thought it was where your pics were taken. Note to self: Be sure to read gripping descriptions thoroughly. Back then it was $33.00. I wasn't expecting it to be that high and it didn't accept ez-pass. My last ray of hope was that the number above the word "fare" was my front axle weight. Nope.
  5. Merry Christmas and safe travels to all of you hitting the road for the holidays.
  6. Sheesh! I get around more than a cheap hooker! Did the Chesapeake Bridge & Tunnel thing a few times in a big truck. It's a must for any roadtrip bucket list. Ditto on the "beats interstating" comment.
  7. Absolutely ******* sickening! Racism is alive and well thanks to the likes of scum like Sharpton, the lemmings that buy into his BS, and leadership from the top down that is more concerned about doing what's popular instead of what's right. This is only the beginning. Nice work, assholes.
  8. Looks like a pic from the assembly line, 2 more thumbs up for the color. I hope your wife is feeling better.
  9. The DMM in post #9 sure looks proud the way it's sitting on that hill.
  10. Great pics. Thanks for sharing your "equipment timeline" with us. Is that a promise or a threat?
  11. Clever and nicely done, but I prefer the stock doors. At least it still has spokes on the rears.
  12. I must've missed a few progress posts. Looks great!
  13. I imagine you get a bit more excited than most husbands when your wife asks you to help find her lost necklace. Just be careful, that could do some damage if it gets caught in the propeller.
  14. Happy Birthday! Ask Mrs mack mhe9 to not bruise any of the good parts.
  15. Nice find. I like the color, the white steering wheel, and the mufflers.
  16. I realize that not everyone is as fanatical about Mack trucks as most of us on BMT, but why destroy so many hard to find usable parts?
  17. The CCJ article is clearly more about plugging KW and Heil than the tree. i guess the job goes to the manufacturer with the highest bid instead of the carrier?
  18. Sorry for the folks in Jacksonville that lost their jobs, but it appears to have been a smart business move. It's good to see a few more Mack jobs back in the Allentown area where they belong.
  19. A nice article highlighting a few vets from my part of town, but not much else. http://triblive.com/news/editorspicks/7193335-74/harbor-pearl-kralik#axzz3LB6IDizf
  20. If you didn't want it to look like a new truck, I think you screwed up big time!
  21. Word on the street is that the LLI driver had to pass a big truck doing 20 mph below the speed limit and was the victim of a digital ambush.
  22. Beautiful! You Brockway folks are doing a a fantastic job of keeping the brand alive.
  23. Interesting! It looks like a cross between an R, U, and F.
