Haven't been past the place in a while, but Trovei in Port Jervis NY would be worth aphone call. They had several of the old NEMF trucks around. Many for longer than you'd expect.  A Duie Pyle used to use trucks similar to that spec too. New Penn.  So many of these have been gone for years already, but there's still one float'n around here and there.

Anyone in the Savannah GA area to inspect a truck?  Email me.

CH612 inspection and purchase in Savannah did not happen.  I am still looking for a nice 2003 or older CH612 day cab per my original post.  I would consider a NICE CH613 day cab but lose one rear axle and shorten the frame ($$$$).  Most CH613s are high mileage, have a wet line which I do not need, and are "run hard and put up wet".

Expanding my search to include International 9100 and 9200 with CAT or Cummins power.

@67RModel - Thanks for thinking of me.  I don't do faceless book, but the big chrome bumper, chrome visor, and dual straight bologna stacks do NOTHING for me.  But to each their own.  Whatever floats your boat.

As the saying goes "they are only original once" and that is what I seek or something close with no rust.  I inquired about at least 30 trucks so far and the "nice ones" are usually sold by the time I see them advertised.

Hi Ken,

Just a point. Swap of a bumper and visor are much less job than rearranging the rear axles. You could even put such big bright parts up for sale when still on a truck. Very good advertizement way when people see the look they'd get.

The rig looks cool on the pic. Sure might be found in poorer condition when up close.

Speaking convertion 613 to 612 I'd consider airride for that. Keeping the FR in place cutting off the RR with the rear frame portion. FR diff would need attention though since there's a power divider in it. Would need RR carrier to be swapped into.
