I doubt they’re gonna get everybody out alive too bad everybody’s hoping for the best. and yes, there’s gonna be all kinds of people with their in the ringer. They usually do just like you said guide big vessels like that into their location spot which I think is kind of difficult trying to maneuver a big vessel like that but I know nothing about boat boats. What I don't understand is, they managed to shut bridge down before impact but did not notify the crew that was on bridge patching potholes?? You can see their flashing yellow hazard lights as drifting ship was approaching. 3:55 just now Maryland gov is praising effort to shut down bridge access before impact. Ship is 100,000 tonner..."talk about Mass in Motion". I've been across it many times, and I read an article years ago that listed it as one of the most dangerous bridges in the US. That was after the I-35 bridge collapse in Minnesota I think, and it was considered dangerous because it was on the " most likely to collapse" list. I thought about that every time I crossed it. Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point was at the north end of the bridge. Huge steel mill, loaded coils there many times.
