Popular Post autocardc
See a lot of trucks fron the northeast on this site but thought I would start a thread on Macks in St. Louis. When I was a kid it was nothing but fords, macks, internationals and autocars. In the city and a radius up to 18 miles outside of it tri axles can gross 90k and quads can gross up to 112k . Below are some pics. As for tandems you can gross up to 72k. Edited March 22, 2020 by autocardc

kscarbel2
I see "mega dealer" Vanguard Truck Centers bought St. Louis Mack in 2013. Click on locations......https://vanguardtrucks.com/ Alike Caterpillar, the day is coming when there will be 15 or less Mack brand distributor principals nationwide. At distributor meetings, Volvo will save on catering.

h67st
120k!! Our roads are grooved enough from 80k, I can't imagine what that would do.

james j neiweem
I wonder how many old macks are hiding around in garages and back fenced in areas of the big cities. Probably a gold mine out of sight out of mind.

autocardc
Always good to see rd and rb models working. Cherry on the top was finding two rusted b models hiding behind buildings.

autocardc
Valley Material runs an all Mack fleet with the exception of a few sterlings. Nice seeing nothing but Mack’s on a concrete pour. Never seen mixers with overhead water tanks in St. Louis but love that setup. The dm’s came from Louisville.
