fullfuel01 KW looks like an old International Transport Truck. What are the specs on it ? Thanks Joe D.

I thought the same thing but I can't see any ghost lettering for IT.

what do they call it after they rase the cab up another foot?

A cabover.

That top truck is S model KW out of the mid to late sixty's

It has I think 12 - 71 twin turbo blah blah not real sure makes I think around 600 hp I reckon it would have been to lots of truck shows and won a whole heap of prizes

Swishy is the man for this he would be able to spill the beans and Aussie KW's better than me

Fantastic photo's sounds like its all working out really good over there

How do you find the trailers as they look a fair bit different than the US lowboy type of trailer

you keep on living the dream over there

Paul

Paul, the transporters as they are called here are much different than our low beds. Deck over axle here makes them much shorter but the loads are a lot higher. The big forest machine I moved last was 5 meters high! That would be difficult in the states. The job has been very interesting and scary fun too! Came to visit friends in 2010 and found it a wonderful place. Took about 2 months to get our visa's.

Is there a shortage of drivers there? They accepted your CDL without much fuss?

I see we have a touch in common... I'm currently milking cows. :)

Fun is what they fine you for!

My name is Bob Buckman sir,. . . and I hate truckers.

From looking this lot of very nice pictures it seems to me you have fun doing the job.

Wish you to keep this way as long as you can.

Work might remember at any moment that work isn't a holiday so I keep my fingers crossed for you :)

Real, I believe there is a shortage every where in the world. As for your CDL it is good here you must take the written test though. Milking cows is good honest work!
