Back many many moons ago when I was a dozer operator. We tried to save it but just couldn get anything going. Driver didn't want me pulling him when it sank. At that stage it was very saveable. then it just kept leaning and all I could do was pull tight and shut the dozer down incase it got drug in also. What a cluster that caused. Had another pic but unknown where it is.

That happen some years back,I think it was in Germany. That where those big monsters are located.

Yes about 10 years or so. There was an article on it but not in English

"OPERTUNITY IS MISSED BY MOST PEOPLE BECAUSE IT IS DRESSED IN OVERALLS AND LOOKS LIKE WORK"  Thomas Edison

“Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy shit, what a ride!’

4x4 quit working and when the ground started to give way he got stuck. I was on the D8N trying to pull him after the body rolled. Almost got ot out of this then we got him upright. Same job and same road just farther back as the Dm rolled

That jobsite must have been quick sand!

we where pushing muck back into the lake and letting the draglines dig it mixed in with the sand and rock. Had more muck then we could deal with. Hell half the ponds and or lakes had so much in there no but could move. once you started sinking you had to move. had a dozer almost go in. Sitting there talking to another operator and then he moved. 2 mins later the plot he had been sitting on was gone.

I almost had a tore up wednesday, I put my drain tube on my turbo and fired the truck up to make sure it sealed up.......didnt put the feed line back on the turbo though! I found out the turbo oil feed line on an E9 will drain 4 gallons of oil in under 30 seconds, concrete driveway looks nice!

Oh that would of hurt. I bet you gave a whole new meaning to the term wind sprints getting back around the truck

What size buckets do they run on those little machines, I've seen excavators in some bad positions but never seen one go over.
