Some of you have bin asking for photos of my 2 trucks, so here they are.

Recommended Posts

The 2 trucks are,,

A 1955 Mack LJSWX, hard nose, Mack engine, with a 5 speed Mack trans and a 3 speed devorced spicer trans, Mack rears not sure on the weight guessing 54,000. Factory marion dump truck. (Runs good and drives well)

And the other truck is a 1962 Mack B81SX, hard nose, Mack engine, with a 5 and a 4 Mack trans, Hyd. assist steering, Mack rears and i believe there also 54,000. (Just got it running a little better tonight, needs tires before any road test)

I need one drivers side front spring hanger as pictured, on the B81. Both trucks have brocken rear and front springs.

Where would the rear info be?

Also trying to figure out witch ones uglyer, lol.

Hope you all enjoy them. Hope to start restoring one of them as soon as spring gets here.

Thanks Paul

RE rear axle info, looking at the back of the truck, in the area of the check plug on the lower rear housing, there should be numbers stamped in the housing, probably beginning with "SW", post them and I'll look them up for you.

Those are much nicer trucks than you looked at at Gerharts, you're much better off.
