    What is the story on the variation on crankcase capacity? ESI and ESI plus???? never heard of that before. I have noticed the 2 filter and 3 filter differences. And what is the story behind the 235 and 237? are they the same?

    Why are so many Generals set-up as wreckers.... Bisons too... Bisons are a rare sight, but I'd have to say that better than half of the Bisons I've seen are wreckers. Any answers?

    Mack museum says my 1005 V8 (predecessor to E9) was originally to be equipped with a 6 speed. Has decal on the dash calling it a Maxidyne.... Somewhere during production they decided to intercool it, and forced the original purchaser into buying the 12 speed.. . he said he didn't have a choice!

    What are the realities/practicalities of importing trucks into the USA? I would really enjoy being a part of the effort to import Scania's, as a long time Volvo car owner (I once had a 240 with 400k on the clock), I can attest to Swedish design and engineering. How do Volvo and Scania compare in the European market today?

    You had balls to take that photo! And I think that rig is beautiful... Their V8 is a beast, the E9 equipped Mh I owned was a real joy to operate, but I hated having to lay down to put my pants on.

    Yeah, I agree... I don't give a whit about 'big' power... I am only curious as to what those figures mean concerning timing and compression ratio....

    I think the term 'pusher' is more of a "Left-Coast" thing.... West of the Mississippi at least... 'round here we call them "Lift axles".... or a "tag" if it don't "lift".

    The truck is really really nice, but the guy selling it gave me that info about the engine... I'm not into 'hot-rod' problems. If anyone knows Cats on here, I'd be interested in finding out if this is bad info, or a quality set-up. .. Thanks
