  1. When I first looked at the poster quickly, it made me think that Big Enos from the Smokey and the Bandit movie wanted to sell me a truck.
  2. Mike clearly remembers his "first one" or he had the VIN memorized.
  3. Don't forget the early CH cabover, EB, LMU, EEU, EHU, ...... Fun to spend other people's money! Fantastic score on the G.
  4. Paint code 812. The OEM is 312SX19P2 for a gallon. If you get in a bind and want to stay with a certain brand of paint, take the glove box or other small piece and the paint supplier will scan the part. Jim
  5. The weight must be ok because both pieces of equipment fit on the trailer. I like it! Saved himself a trip.
  6. The o rings in the shifter mechanism on top of the trans. may be a little tired from corrosion or age. So the extra psi going to them before made them work ok and overcame the bypass leakage. Now that the psi has been returned to oem specifications they are probably acting sluggish and slow. May be time to get the o ring kit and tune it up. Jim
  7. What are you working on? Details would be helpful. If this is a Dynamax system found on a Mack F model cabover, depressing the clutch pedal slowly several times to activate the clutch reservoir chamber and expel any air that may be trapped in the chamber should handle it. The Dynamax air activated/push type wet clutch could also be found on R, U or DM as an option instead of a clutch cable. Jim
  8. ATCA members pay $45.00 per space. 10 X 30 ft are the space size. You can buy multply spaces. There is some paperwork for the PA sales tax police. Flea market space HAS to be pre-registered before May 1. Jim
  9. Fine looking Pup! Looks local with Ballard flaps on it. What are the specs? Jim
  10. Like Hatcity said, check the oil everyday!!! Even if it is raining out. Add bumping the tires and checking of the lights EVERDAY! It is easier to fix a problem in the yard than on the side of the road. A couple of places the oil could be coming from. Grab a flashlight and start hunting if you see the problem again.
  11. Gee....with friends like that!!! Must be a tough neighborhood. Cutting sod is easy. The rolling and stacking part sucks.
  12. Happy Birthday! A good present would Be NO more riveting on frame rails.
  13. Overdrive was available in L model Mack trans. like a TR 150 with a .77 over in a 5 spd. A TRD 150 was a 10 spd. also with a .77 over.
  14. Good looking rig! Lots of people I know still wish they had their 7.3 Strokers.
  15. Just like peaches and cream. You are having way too much fun!
  16. Welcome! Now that you have one E-9, it is time to start looking for number 2.
  17. Yup, have a 6-71 and that is what they sound like. what? WHAT? I can't hear you.....?
  18. Those buttons are under some kind of tension and might not survive the trip. Hmmmmm......damn fine plan!
  19. It's not just a job, it's an adventure!!!
  20. Very interesting! Works on a daycab, but would need a big cut out on the sleeper corner. Best truck in the picture is the one you are driving!
  21. Hope you can work a deal with your wife because that truck is a keeper.
  22. I am not close but it sounds like a fun thing to do.
  23. Not seeing what you have there, can't tell about head size on bolts. There are flange bolts available from industrial supply stores in 3/8 fine. Take one out and see how it might match up. If the bolt head has three lines on the top it is grade 5. Grade 5 should be ok in that application. 25 lbs for torque. if you go with Grade 8 bolts, 35 lbs. A little medium strength threadlocker wouldn't be a bad idea.
