  1. I hope everyone has a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Joe D.
  2. I think the standard frame with for most trucks is 34" . Mack frame width is 33.3". You will need to have a spacer. Unless it changed on later model Macks. Joe D.
  3. They will fit on 8.25" rims but not recommended. Joe D.
  4. 9" rims are the one called for on 315/80 22.5" tires. Joe D.
  5. Ken you are right that B+D was from Liberty,Pa.I saw truck was for located in Mansfield,Pa. I just typed it in. My mistake. Joe D.
  6. I do not know if the Ebay listing information is true or not. Truck looks like a twin to the one Vlad bought. Both were originally from Mansfield,Pa. and this one is still listed being in Mansfield,Pa.Both are same colors as B+D Trucking Mansfield,Pa that closed up shop. Joe D.
  7. Macks Does NY enforce the Federal Bridge Law on Long Island. I know in cental NY around the Watkins Glen,Retsoff area they do.Not 100% sure on the #'s but you need 21' outer bridge to scale over 70 or 71,000 lbs.My tri-axle has a wheelbase of 239" outer bridge of 22'.Pa. is starting to have selective enforcement of this law at times. Joe D.
  8. Does it have the fine Corinthian Leather as the Cordoba had ? Joe D.
  9. Personally I would not care what engine was in that F-Model for $1,000.00 it could have a transplanted gaspot. This is my problem I like all old trucks. some more than others. Joe D.
  10. Mark nice job. We had a few White 4000 and 9000 Cummins powered. They were good trucks.Joe D.
  11. Yardo Covington Twp. where my buildings are are pretty strict with codes. I do not remember the Statewide Code they go by but they do go by it with vigor. The holes they dug for poles were over 3' as frost line is a bit more here. They were not shoddy by any means. When I put my Metal framed building up they made me dig down 6' or 8' to pour concrete. It was a bit of overkill but that was the rule. Same with snowload. All buildings plans must be approved by Township Engineer or Architect. If you do not go by the rules they will put manners on you. Joe D.
  12. I have 2 buildings. 1 steel 42'x60' 14' door it was a Miracle Truss about 20 years old no problems. 2nd building is a pole barn 40'x60' 2-12' doors. no problem with this one either. Pole Barn was much cheaper and only took 3-days to complete by Dutchmen from Pa. very good workers. As Dirtymilkman said no ant problems here. Wood that is in contact with earth is treated. Joe D.
  13. I noticed no exterior air horns or stacks on any of the French Macks. Joe D.
  14. Paul only thing wrong is your Dodge needs duals to let it breathe properly. As far as the bumper sticker I have it on my garage door. Joe D.
  15. Husky tools that I saw are made in China. Not sure on the Kobalt. Joe D.
  16. Nice load in the Ford and its not even squatting. Joe D.
  17. Jerry I am doing well Thank You,i hope you are also. Its too miserable here to work on anything. I am working on going to Florida and a cruise. Maxidyne237 nice truck. Nothing like California sunshine and mostly dry climate to keep them nice. It certainly will look good anywhere. Joe D..
  18. Maxidyne237 I see you found transport back East from California. good for you. What are the specs any pictures when you get a chance ? Thanks Joe D.
  19. Paul that was quite the option with a Pony motor 3-53 Detroit. Joe D.
  20. Good looking Corbitt. I see a Farr air cleaner and chrome Luberfiner. What engine is in truck? Thanks Joe D.
  21. Maddog Matt I think the reason for wider u-Model cab was to fit 2 or 3 extra laborers in cab.Joe D.
