  1. I have to say if there is a weak point in the mack power divider, the early ones would break a through shaft every once in a while And yes i do prefer the air lockout divider, especially when the internals are worn. Terry and yes i have driven both, with and without the air lockout.

  7. Probably a TRD 720 which is a overdrive duplex, but if it is a 722 not sure what that last 2 means, and if it is a 2 then it is a direct trans. terry
  8. I once owned a 70 DM with the scania with a automatic trans. Was a ex mixer truck. Terry it was also a DM 400, 487 model
  9. could there be a small difference on the turbo fins? And the inside of the housings ? Would fit one way with to much clearance and the other way fins are rubbing the housing? Terry
  10. Definitely has to be timed right, i put u joints in a steering shaft on a DM, it would almost bind up till i changed the timing on them. Terry
  11. that is a single countershaft transmission case, duplex, tri, or quadraplex. Terry

  20. Sure alot different than the old simple two valve mack engine! they would run forever with a little maintenence. terry
  21. They call that a castle nut, supposed to have a cotter pin when castle nut aligns up with the hole on the knuckle. Terry
  22. So what did you use for axles on rear end pumpkin swap? Terry.
  23. Just fill filters completely up, and pump primer till hard, should start, might miss for a few seconds but should clear up. Terry
  24. The trdl1070 would work good behind a 237 or 285, but the X107 six speed would not be good behind a 350, to much lugging for that engine. Terry
