  2. I second what MACKs says about the trunnion bushings, if it is bronze and really walking out, trunnion tube is probably gone too! terry
  3. probably a misprint on the 300 series? need to know the seriel # off the frame, that will tell you alot. looks like a older thermodyne engine that somebody put screw on oil filters, doesn't have a oil cooler. probably a triplex or quad transmission. terry
  4. Should give you alot of trouble free miles for a long time! Alot better than them emission plagued engines along side of the road! terry
  5. Depends if your pump is separate from control valve or built together, if hoist is staying up and not leaking at the packing on each stage your good to go!
  6. Every dump box i have ever seen is pressure up and gravity down, no two way cylinders on dump truck boxes i have seen, two way cylinder on side dumps and ram eject trailers, and maybe some other applications. terry
  7. the days of laying a part on the counter and parts man going back to get are gone! terry

  12. does it have a rubber or bronze trunnion bushing? if it has the bronze one and needs replaced, might also need the trunnion itself. terry

  15. love them 12 speeds! terry
  16. did you look at the rears to see what ratio they actually are to be sure? terry
  17. Yes there pretty close.
  18. you better check the rear end ratios, if that had the 6,7 or 8 spd mack trans. originally, the rear ends have to be changed to work with a 8LL transmission. terry
  19. Glad to hear from you again, looking real sharp, bet it was a little breezy with no doors!! terry
  20. would have to say it isn't a T675, looks like no oil cooler there on the left side. terry
  21. Try manders truck salvage in lakeville Minn. lots of mack parts. terry
  22. Biggest problem i see with one of the trucks for a dump truck would be over weight on the steer axle. and you need a longer wheelbase for bridge laws. terry
  23. maybe i am missing something, what is so strange about the way the front wheels are attached to the spokes? terry
  24. i used to hear to put the outer seal in backwards so it would come out there first.ever hear this? terry
  25. With them 5.55 rears and that seven spd trans changing to a 9 or 13 spd trans will not work, rear ends are to slow , that seven spd has a real wide overdrive, i have driven them and don't like it for a dump truck. terry
