I got the plunger unstuck and took the truck for a short ride. Ran well until another got stuck. Winterized now and will work on it in the spring. Thanks again for all the responses.

Thank-you for the responses. Took the side cover off and this is what I found. #6 spring is jammed. I have tapped it and soaked it and it hasn’t’t released. Any suggestions or do I need to take it out, and how would that be done?

Engine was running as expected and then three weeks later when started it went to max rpm and will not idle. throttle linkage was checked and all appropriate still will not start and run it at idle. It’s not a runaway just goes to max RPM. Have to stall eng to stop the shut off will not stop it.
