  1. I believe the biggest problem of putting turbos on the early engines was head gasket leaks, no fire rings. terry

  3. That taper leaf rear suspension is not very good, real soft, looks like a lot of rust jacking around the fifth wheel. Terry
  4. I once owned a B421 , had that flathead mack gas engine, thy were either a 401 or 402 engine. terry

  6. That’s an older one, rockwell front axle and real early air cleaner set up. Terry sure a nice one for that early!

  11. Just listened to that video, had 237 engines with that exact sound, was a loose exhaust seat, I know it sounds crazy but I had one do that and it ran a long time, just never know how long! Terry
  12. I"m going to have to check some of my old manuals on the X107 fill spots, maybe i am getting mixed up with the older single counter shaft transmissions! terry
  13. If you try to fill up to plug on right side you will be way over filled. terry as mechohaulic said it has the trough for metal pieces.
  14. Depends on which o ring that needs repaired, Yeah the magnet is on the opposite side of fill plug terry
  15. If you don’t want to drain it, tip it up so gear oil is in the other end. Terry
  16. Some kind of old style relay valve? Is it plumbed up properly? terry
  17. If the frame mounts on the side point towards the front, reverse sides and it might come out right. terry
  18. Can't you take a newer mack rear housing with a desired ratio and cut the mounting brackets off and weld on the needed brackets. terry
  19. I have seen batteries behind that panel on right side ,between step and cab. and a B61 is a diesel. terry

  22. Can’t you do the same thing on the air lines down on the back end of frame by rear ends, the foot valve is basically just a supply and delivery lines right? Terry
  23. Guess I’m just used to the old E-6 and 7 that used to take a quart or two a day and run forever 😂. Terry
