  1. I too it to frame shop and showed them the rearend still moves alot They had a different person look at it. He says how did there other guy miss the trunnions are bad and torque rods and some other rods the bushings were gone. They replaced the whole assembly on both sides and arms and actual align it. It drive very nice now. I'm pressure washing the whole under side of truck so I can get all the leaks fixed next.
  2. They sent truck back. They replaced the broken box and all the pads and hardware. They replaced whole drop down frame. They said ready to go I check it out They left the rear tire on it that was ground down the side wall and another tire flat off rim. They said they align truck bur none of the tie rods where lossened or moved or any other piece. They are full of grime and not one greased piece on truck. Our shop mechanic said calm down I'm being to picky. I Said that the truck will be perfect they don't like that.
  3. My truck just got on frame machine to check it over. I'm waiting to hear what they say. Here it is incognito
  4. Got you a pic of the quality truck they gave me. I'm just making it to my bonus and then if I don't get a newer truck I'm out.
  5. First one I seen. I believed the mechanics. They were heavy truck mechanics all 3 off them. One over 30 years. I literally showed them it sticking out atleast a hand size past other tire but would straighten right up I feel like a dumb ass now because I'm am mechical able.
  6. The truck has bent backed into something .before me bent the big back bumper bad on same side I pointed out the rear hinge for dump tank is bent and binding and they said it been that way from bumper hit. I have drove it for 6 months drives smooth and straight no noises. But like I said rear would walk out far after backing.
  7. Joke of the day they said it just needs the bucket and pads for that one that broke. The owner is on vacation hope they get back soon. Gonna need a new job.
  8. Like I said it's a company truck and the next day they towed it out to a frame suspension shop. I Have to go there to get my stuff out of truck will get a picture of other side of box. I just came off a large bridge I just barely kept it upright it was close. I'm glad I didn't hurt anyone. The company acted like no big deal. Then I lost a day of work so far.
  9. Can you expand on poor inspection and maintenance. Is there something they should have done to rear end for maintenance
  10. Also this is a company truck.sure it's not pretty but it will pass a inspection.
  11. These trucks aren't payment princesses. They are stop and go every day at 70000 pounds for 12 hours. They get beat on. The brake replacement is 1/4 inch or to indicator limit which is the same. The lights work tires are good and brakes don't leak.I don't know why I would think that any one here would have any thing important to say but no just attack. I know that all your trucks are so perfect. But most likely most of you have never drove one just typed one.
  12. I check every day for missing broken or cracked things.I did look at all bolts on rear. They aren't great at cleaning any thing but I check the grease levels my self. I get them to adjust brakes and clutch every moth for me. The rear shoes are not to step in shoe yet. They won't replace until it's there. It drives straight and smooth with tire man checks them every week. There was no banging or noises. But am concerned about the bucket braking. I just barely kept in upright.
  13. Drive a mack that carries a 5000 gallon pump tank. Rear was walking out about 4 to 5 inches. Brought it to company mechanic told me that mack allows movement. Said drive it no problems. We had high wind warnings and I was driving and it felt a little wiggly but all the wind I thought I as getting pushed around. Now a couple of days later I'm going 65 full load and rear axle pad box blows off I drive the crap out of it almost crash and burned but was able to not hit anything. If you have a high milage camelback rear I advise to check it.I wont drive it without complete parts replacement Springs buckets and bushings. What you think about parts replacement they should not even not replace it all
