  1. Good work for the vacation At least it wasn't lonely during that time. How many six packs have you worked down?
  2. Welcome on board! Nice fleet you have, best of luck on the current project. Vlad
  3. Might be very nice unit if it's so good in real as described and showed out.
  4. Seems fair on my mind.
  5. Would be cool to get a 3 day vacation to go to Munch You in the States are luckie boys ang girls. A friend of mine works as a truck driver in Germany. There's the road tax. You have a unit in every heavy commercial vehicle wich counts your kilometers passed being connected to the sencers along the road. The worst part that cost is depended hard on "Ecology class" of your rig. So if you go with "Euro-5" 1 km costs you about 30 Euro cents (about, I'm not almost shure on the sharp figure). But if you're driving Euro-3 (a truck of 1999-2003) you must pay Euro 1.3. Wich gets you far off a concurence. This fact forces you to buy newer vehicle and get rid of an old one to the third countries only. If you looks over European marked of used trucks you may found out many of them seem pretty cheap being just over 10 years. My lovely govnt doesn't sleep at nights strongly thinking to go the same way. Looks like they will do.
  6. If I'm not wrong she took the snow off grey Silverado.. Tom, I'm in love with your roads scenaries
  7. Nice! Was the big dog yours when at Macungie 2013?
  8. No words... Try to look at all that just like a part of your life you live regardless anything. Or something like that. The most important thing is to keep yourself. Nothing of pleasure to talk and think about. I know it myself.
  9. Thank you very much Gentleman. I wish I have the same shure on this matter as you do
  10. At least I'm free from the crap in the post above Some deep pocket folks owerhere have them for fun.
  11. Best wishes! Have a great day!!
  12. Thank you for clearing me up although I'm still half in a darkness. My most interest is a front part of the frame. Some mad idea is cruising my mind to own a Superliner some day. Pretty shure I'm not alone on that. So... They seem costy and it would be twice costy to be imported in Russia. With one interesting point - the only way to is to take a truck apart and put into container mixed with other spares. But... I have the extra R-model cab, E6-350 with 9 speed and Mack tandems on Neway. And there are Visions for sale locally for not expensive. So the rest is just to import a hood with grill. Any thoughts on how is it impossible?
  13. Guy, if you really interested in E series there's a good book based on the old photos off the archive of Mack Museum. The sample: http://www.amazon.com/Mack-Eh-Ej-Em-Eq-Er-Es-1936-Through-1950/dp/1882256395 There were many of the models of different years, payloads and engines. In general they were produced from middle 30's to early 50's, mostly with flat head gassers but there were Thermodine's also.
  14. The link doesn't work (for me - ?) Maybe it's already gone?
  15. Cool old dog My only sorry is it's definitely much more reason to me to go there and drive it locally than try to import to my neck of the woods.
  16. Oops... Too surprizingly and sorry to hear. Hope you will figure out the best way of things knowing her so long. Keep us posting. It's good sometimes to get lots of advices regardless you do just opposit in the end.
  17. Timmy, that sounds great! Nails is not a problem although I'm afraid I don't use to drink so much..
  18. Looks good! Best of luck on the project! Vlad
  19. Sad news, it looked very nice when solid. A question - the front end of the frame rail seems to me similar to a RW. Does CL/CH/CX and RW frames have anything in common?
  20. You're always able to add bolt heads in place of knobs
  21. Larry, looks like an idea.
  22. It seems to me more and more that Israel is the land of threasures. Not many of them E's on the East side of Atlantic ocean. Many thanks for sharing.
  23. Thank you for the comments folks, they're cool and funny as always The bunk was originally well insulated with mineral wool since it's Canadian. I'm going to do the same 2 inch thik regardless it's a hobby truck with no plans for winter cruising. The interior is partly done. Plywood inner lining is cut and some metal parts are done to attach the shelf and the bed. The last one is designed (yea, we spent some weeks drinking beer figuring out the arrangement)... designed to slide up to the front wall to be a double bed. I talked with the upholstery man to make everything of kunst leather together with the cab interior to get it the same style, close to original.
