  1. There are two ways to go at the moment. Remove at least one head and the pan and take some pistons out to inspect the rings. Or to brake it in. Second looks easier although it's easier to locate their mistake if any. Have you note the oil level lowering?

  5. I would say (for quite shure) NJU. A different pretty rare WW2 beast. At least the wheel base size and Timken axles point out on that. Shure if it's a Mack at all. NJU's had Mack flat head gassers from the factory. The red one in the pic is the only survivor I ever heard of of 700 units built. Cheers, Vlad

  7. Sorry to not follow the cost discussion although the hood length of this unit seems to me as short as of a B67. Were they V8 B's had this style factory or were either different ones with "normal" (B61 size) hood length?
  8. Would fit a Superliner although the one is for a MH. Central square cut outs are for steps. If this be a chrome plated one I'd be Paypalling right at the moment.

  11. I thought I've learned some things being on here for a while but that picture got me to find out I've not. The hoods with that style of grill mean the trucks are RL/RS. But they were Hayward built. So what a chance was to picture them up in Allentown?
