  1. Paul, that makes sence. And partly answers the question wich recently roamed in some deep ends of my mind - what military NR and resque 125LS have in common
  2. They HAD them. At least in 1945. Buzzer reminder switch.
  3. Great looking unit!
  4. When I saw your truck in person I thought it had E9 under the hood. Probably haven't payed enough of attention that moment since there was a planty of other candies to look at. It was when I visited Matt Pfahl's shop. The truck was in the shape like on the last shot you posted. I remember like it was just yesterday Matt discussed with some of his other guys about the radiator core. I too enjoyed the colors it was painted and the way it was being done. You must be a proud owner
  5. It seems like a new purchased vehicle. Some trucks were avalible as a chassis and cowl shape, with no cab. It could save costs installing a local built cab. But from looking the shape of the hood on the picture that's not Mack.
  6. I like the way the strips are done. They're quite simple about shape but look nice.
  7. The one for sale sure is.
  8. Impressive.
  9. Your door is too probably similar to a R-model door. Sure in case you have not just a R-model. From what I learned playing with such the doors you can't allow any thing of the lock until remove the back panel. It seemed to me a disaster to pass through though. If you will do it with the window up.
  10. You can buy a pile of R-model went windows now. But nobody knows how high they will be about cost and how soon. We never know.
  11. Almost as Maddog said, the warning buzzer switch. The threaded post you've broken might be taken out from the housing together with isolating bushing and swapped out with a similar one. It too probably the same part is also a contact terminal inside of the valve body and might be fabricated of a common screw. A brass one would work better. I'm not 100% sure since haven't taken mine apart yet but it seems to me the way I said and worth a try.
  12. Wow! From what you said that man who always "on the floor making a harness" and not possible to answer calls has "ein guten appetit".
  13. I wish you plenty of power. We know we can do a lot if we hard enough going out path. What are the plans for the tanker in the future? A big water carrier or some kind of living room masked as a tank?
  14. Dark chokolade color looks good either. The perfect truck!
  15. Ufff... I was just going to Google the history of Thanksgiving feast to be known of what you guys selebrate. That big post above shares alot of facts about. Let's hope all that is now history wich we will try to learn lessons from. Kscarbel, thank you for sharing the story.
  16. Wow! That seems to be an animal! Good luck on the progress.
  17. Tom, thank you for sharing, the loc is sure nice. One thing just bothers me. Did you shoot the same side of the Moon the previous time or the other?
  18. Happy Turkey Day friends!
  19. That Pete picture beats the most of other ones. With probably the only exception that in Paul's post. Thank you for posting Tom.
  20. Thank you for nice looking pictures and the story. Rocks, Macks, Chevy's, and so on, and so on. The road in the last picture too reminds me the one you can see in the very beginning of Convoy movie. Interesting but I think I've seen that shot before. And it was on here
  21. Looks like a bad ground of your directional lights.
  22. Interesting fact that KamAZ engine was bulid originally with 8 separate heads. This desing is still in production with some modifications such as turbos and electronics. Being learned of American truck history I was surprized V8 engines were not everywhere since the most of Russian trucks starting from 60's were V8's. Keeping in mind KamAZ has his roots from Mack it's surprize the engine style is completely different.
  23. Hope you'll get easy turn out on that story. Vlad
  24. I'm not a big specialist as everybody knows and laugh but making repairs on any V8 engine requires more efforts than on in-line one.
  25. Fried Crow might work also. Congrats on moving her from not controlled area
