Well I have looked at the transmission on google and it appears to be a 4 speed 3 range transmission So I'm thinking one of the range change gears has a crook bearing or gear, and the guess would be the mid range gears But remember I have never driven or even looked at one of these, just using common sense from what I can see and glean from the limited information we have at hand I dont see how injectors or even the clutch could only affect these gears Clutch would be in lower gears and the clutch would be slipping on a normal transmission Paul

Yes it is official, I am jealous 😘 So much classic stuff in the US compared to just about any other country including Australia I think the updraft carby was used because you cant flood them, fuel just runs oout onto the ground and not down into the motor literally flooding the entire motor until the tanks empty This technology of internal combustion engines was still really new, it wasnt until after WW2 that down draft carbys became normal and even then farm tractors and the like used updraft carbys well into the 60's Paul
