  1. my guess is if it fires up and all is good the value of the truck is 5,000-8,000 depending on size of rears and condition of frame and accessory's if its a salt free truck the price increases, yes it can be swapped to hub pilot .the 9 speed isn't my 1st choice but you need to try it with the v8, I run a 12 speed but use 7-10 depending on hills and load up to 98,000 gvw .running 6-8% grades in Washington
  2. I missed one pic. this field got reseeded and the rocks picked while I was waiting for the hay to cure. borrowed the neighbors field roller its a old anhydrous tank that I half filled with water made a nice finish in the field , rides nice at 8mph in the tractor cab !
  3. thank you, I got the hay operation down to a one man operation , but I sure can get the hours in! here's a few more of the superliner
  4. first of all welcome! have you pulled any thing with it yet? is it a 9sp. mack or road ranger? unlike your 3406's this thing will start pulling at 950rpm -1700 it will go higher but no need if geared right you should also see28+ lbs. manifold pressure my 450 or 500 will build 34 lbs. I have never run the 400. but know its darn close. they hit there peak torque about the same as the 3406 if I remember the curve correctly .
  5. Ok since you guys show me the east coast every week I thought I would post from a 300 acre site so here goes had a flat on the wiper in the cow pasture. a before and after of a hay field then after a few days I baled it up then grabbed the bobcat and the superliner and put the move on the bales 42 at a time apromx.850lb. ea. I use the 580k on the other end to unload the bright green ones are the new ones 42 bales don't look as impressive in the stack as they do on the truck, within 6 months it will just be crap, then spread on a hay field and the process repeats its self. went on a parts run and seen this old dodge billboard holder had to go on a accident call and got to take this beast for a run
  6. Well I talked to the boys over at the FAA they said I can get my plane back when ..............well when HELL freezes over............. or when the U.S. no longer has a national debt.........and since Leon is coming over from the Netherlands I wont win the key chain for furthest traveled, so I guess I will have to stay home and haul apples with the ole superliner!
  7. nice, combined his knowledge, just like I said earlier a farm boy can do anything they want to! as for being under a truck at 3 am. that is one of them things you have to do to enjoy working in a dairy barn............ or vise versa!
  8. glad you made it back! hope the health thing gets better!
  9. I wonder how many guys got retired early from one wrong move while cleaning the windshield?.............. another reason drinking and mechanicing don't mix

  14. clean and check all grounds you might have a low voltage issue that's causing the problem, double check eng. to frame grounds. you can install all sorts of new stuff and not fix anything if grounds are poor!
  15. have you put a dial indicator on the seal surface of the trans. yoke and rotated the yoke? you could have a bent shaft! same with the imput on the front diff.
  16. hope that was soft soil and not the septic tank!
  17. I did some dirt work on the silverdale mall in the early 90,s. For the west side it a nice place, not as crazy as across the water. nice list of projects I threw this in a 37 international vanpelt fire truck unrestored that belongs to the vol. fire dept . I am a member of, if you get a chance would like to see the ford. Tonasket has one the same year I believe.
