  1. if you arnt fighting a heigth requirement i would go taller, a 12 eve heigth will only allow for a 10 foot high door if you use roll up doors. i would go 14' min, my shop im building is 20' but i plan on a bridge crane in the near future. the extra heigth would allow for windows just under the eves and still allow for a decent lean to. heres what i did ..... not saying its right but might give you some ideas, my next step is to lean to the sides once i finish the shell and get the floor in, i will go 20 feet on each side.

  9. chock the wheels and release the brakes, then mark the push rod flush with the front of the can, then back off the slack adjusters several turns then apply the park brake. check to see that the slacks are still loose then measure from you mark to the front of the can you should have 2 or2 1/2 inches of rod showing beyond your first mark if you dont there is either a broken spring in the can or crap built up in the application chamber not allowing the pistion to move.
  10. i guess im too damn dumb to find it!
  11. if you want a sanden compressor instead of the delco have the parts man look up a cl series mack with a e9 so you get the other style brackets.
  12. as chief Doug said try new cans you may very well have two broke springs in the "park" chamber of the maxi cans, thus not creating enough leverage to properly apply the brakes.
  13. it sounds like a bad ground curcit! the gauges going crazy are a good indicator of this. check all harness grounds also controler grounds.
