  1. I like it too. Sounds like all that is needed is batteries and you're good to go.
  2. Bob, I defiantly agree.
  3. Brocky, It was sitting in the field right of the main road coming in next to an early 50s yellow DT. I can't remember if it was a five window but I think it was labeled as a 709. It had 10 lug wheels and an external air cleaner which could mean diesel.
  4. That red Diamond T with somebody's next project on the deck was at Macungie. I think it is owned by the fellow from near Berkeley Springs.
  5. Sounds like you may have a vacuum leak. Just saw J Hancock's post. Try that first if no change check vacuum system. Good Luck.
  6. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can disconnect the steering shaft from the box without disassembling the box. In order to remove the steering column the box along with the shaft have to be disconnected from the frame and removed from the bottom.
  7. I agree, that is one cool truck. Looks like it has some interest.
  8. Nice job on the restoration. It is nice to see these especially when done by the fire fighters.
  9. Thanks for the great pictures and stories. It is always interesting to see your part of the world.
  10. I missed that one. It looks good. What price was he asking?
  11. Dave was kind enough to fix dinner for a couple of us on Friday evening. He also gave a tour of the rig. Very well done. He mentioned for power it had a 383 stroker.
  12. Tom, It was nice to meet you and thanks for the great pictures. They helped to put some order to all of the nice truck images swirling around in my mind.
  13. Thanks for the pictures and proclamation for OD & Jo. Also thanks to Large for the fire engine tour. It was great to see the group.
  14. Thanks from me too for all the great pictures. Hope there are some undiscovered treasurers out there to be found.
  15. Larry, looks good. Are you going to be able to make Macungie?
  16. I run errands (in VA) every now and then under the guise of test driving. Last fall I came out of the hardware store and there was a sheriff's car parked behind my B and the officer was standing there. When I walked up he asked if he could take a picture as his dad drove a truck "just like this back in the day".
  17. That truck pretty much dwarfs the Superliner in front of it. Great video. Also the next video of the 2017 show is great, what a facility. Sure wish I could have been there.
  18. Thanks. I could not remember his name to save me. He brought the LaSalle Moxie car to one of our Cadillac LaSalle car shows and was giving out cans of Moxie soda. He also had a calliope that was super nice.
  19. I would check the grounds and circuit breakers. In some cases the headlight switch has a built in circuit breaker. On my B model I had to use a separate ground wire for the front turn signals as they would not ground through the paint.
  20. Have a safe, fun trip. Wish I could be there.
