  1. Yes, you're right...pretty slow. Thank you!
  2. Those photos are really hi-def for being under water.
  3. Could you pull the side cover on the power divider and see if the pinion gears are good? How much would you want for both carriers?
  4. Mine is also an SWDL56, except with 10 bolt housings. Here's a question: Does anyone know if I can take the gears out of the 18 bolt carriers and put them in my 10 bolt housings?
  5. On the ATHS site, Frank Malatesta in NJ has a Brockway that is supposed to have 230,000 original miles on it. It looks really straight in the photo. 30 large bills puts it out of my budget. https://aths.org/advertising-with-aths/AdBuilder/List
  6. The one I'm thinking of was a yellow single axle with budds, I believe out west (California?).
  7. The F models sure have a rust problem! I see so many of them with serious cancer issues. You're right Rob, I remember seeing so many of them on the interstates racking up the miles.
  8. Do you have any idea what condition they're in? If the guts are in good shape I'd be very interested in them.
  9. Yes, long snout, 4.50 ratio (I'm open to different ratio). 10 bolt housings. Thank you sir!
  10. There was a guy posting on here a few months ago with a day cab H. I haven't seen any posts from him for awhile.
  11. It's a rollback because the parking brake is inoperable.
  12. Jerry has an impressive collection and he's a great guy. He hauled my '58 H67 from Colorado to my house in Ohio.
  13. Help! I'm trying to find parts for my differentials or a set of good used diffs. Barry is trying to find parts, but not having any luck. One is a CRDP92-165-55 (11KHA589P1), the other is a CRD93-166-25 (11KHA4145P1). I'm looking for the power divider cage, cams, etc. and the top gears for that carrier, and the differential hub assemblies for both carriers. Of course, I'll need seals and gaskets for everything. They're out of a 1960 H67ST. I really appreciate any help you can give.
  14. Parts for the old Macks are getting very hard to find. Mine is a '59 and most parts are scarce/nonexistent.
  15. A blast from the past! My dad and I were at the Jacksonville Florida Mack dealer in the early 70s and they had a bunch of Overnite H models that they had traded for new F models. That's a scene from my childhood that comes to mind many times. This one looks pretty beat!
  16. It does have a sleeper, although around 20" wide. Might be uncomfortable for certain folks.
  17. Dang left coast!! If it doesn't have much rust it's well worth $7,500.
  18. $1,800 was a great deal on that truck.
  19. Mrs. Mack....is that a truck? If the real Mrs. Mack has grade 8 bolts in her chassis you better not back-talk her.
  20. If I drove that truck down the road, I'd look like a crazy person with such a wide grin on my face.
  21. Sorry to hear that. I thought they were great when I was a kid, I had a Corgi Monkeemobile that was my favorite toy.
  22. -52!!! Dang, that's cold. When you talk, your words would probably freeze and then no one could hear them.
  23. What a pain! You try to fit things and do it right and then this kind of stuff happens.
  24. Since Allentown is on the way, is the Mack museum worth a stop? Does anyone know how many trucks they have on display?
  25. Bad things happened in Danbury?
