  2. Thanx Pro for the suggestion but Naw! WE will check it again thou it weren't throwing codes for any other vehicle issues only engine emission crap! the last thing was a low pressure issue that has been corrected with the new regulator were now left with this engine brake code ! Start the REGen it ramps up the rpm for minute then gives up in typical fashion and the usual The BLANK STARE from The tech tool! Instead Saying something useful like this regen was terminated BECAUSE BLA BLA! No reason Just gives up! and leaves you guessing Grasping At Straws, Bunch of Crap! ALWAYS leaves you Guessing and throwing Parts at Shit!
  3. Your welcome Bud ! Hopefully All goes well! valve cover usually has the valve adjustments on a tag on one or the other cover! If ya need help we will try to assist! Or Get mad ! 🙄😁

Sorry I was abrasive but follow the directions bring it up to the valve set marks on the flywheel valves on the rock on the opposite cylinder you adjusting 1-6. 5-2 3-4 adjust the valves to 16 intake 24-26 exhaust if it has jakes usually 15 or 22 and as the post above suggest check the rocker shaft for aplugs missing!Hopfully you haven’t ruined it.
  5. Hey Guys anyone Know if A 2018 MR mp7 will hold out on a Regen with an active Engine brake Fault ! WE have been Fighting with this asshole thing for a Week! various Codes all satisfied now! Have replaced ahi , number 7 and the regulator tweeked to over min spec No Rat Chewed Wires, still shuts down on a forced gen 1 minute into it Only fault active is the engine brake! No Brake / Valve in stock! Just asking E service is A joke!

  7. Agree with tech I would replace all the plastic line in that circuit And the orings on the jumper line between the heads they sometimes cause grief as well!
  8. BUD ! HOW ARE SETTING THESE ?????? they don't set like a Cat or other engines out there!!!!!! You need to set on the Valve set marks NOT TDC ! Not overlap , over lap is close but not perfect . the slack on certain valves is NORMAL if not on the valve set marks! the jake brakes are set on the valve set mark of each cyl Usually 15 to 22 thou! separately while setting the valves 16 in / exhast 24-26 NOT 02- 28 you now may have bent a Valve! Read the A BOOK! Your going to ruin something!!!!!! If you haven't already! firing order 153624 1-6 5-2 3-4 Are sister s these are all on the same stroke as each other but doing a diffrent job!

  11. Check and clean your battery/starter connections Bad grounds do weird things ! Check the cheap and easy stuff first!
  12. K then if the relays got big wires running in and out those are what you need to focus on! power relay #2 look At The chart it traces back to the blower motor!

  14. not sure if they changed this in later years how ever check under that PLASTIC panel Three screws and your there! They may have changed to 4 relays as pictured above but the location will likely be similar!

  16. Guttless!!! agree with Nelm put a load on see what ya think! The engine is relatively reliable BUT VERY small working rpm how ever. it has an 18 sp so your OK there,, Mack 18 speed trans is temperamental And expensive to fix! AND your fuel mileage will suck as stated! low ball offer if anything! I would shy away thou if I was you!!!! Your call ! Your Just buying a job and some head aches ! My opinion
  17. The blower motor is shutting ? This is a sign that the Accessory relay Is possibly Fubar!
  18. Dave I some what agree although, the 12 speed had its place as a dump truck trans with the good selection of reverse gears going for it!As for the 18 sp welllll ! VERY temperamental! and TO expensive to work on! agree on that for sure! Fullers got it all over the the Mack trans for reliability and ease of use! Now they have re engineered the reliability out of the Mack diffs as well they don't hold a candle to the Meritor stuff now! Its truly sad ! Built in obsolescence!
  19. If u have the right hand signal control press the function button and scroll down to gauges press the enter pad and see if there is a test sequence for the gauge panel ! I also believe when you key on the gauges automaticly do a gauge sweep if these gauges are not sweeping it may be the panel is haywire!

  21. A 44000 diff housing is usually Cast ! 36/38 are usually fabricated steel! depending on the year!
