  1. And that won't be enough. Next you'll want an R700 with a V-12 Detr...oops...never mind.
  2. Now that would be cool, and hell on the drive tires if your not careful.
  3. That would explain why no one backed into the truck I saw.
  4. There was a slip in my mailbox saying that I have to go down to the Post Office to pick a letter that has postage due. I'm guessing that's what it is.
  5. I think they teach that on day 1 at dispatch school.
  6. I don't think the blue R model is the correct shade of blue to be an ex-GP.
  7. Holy crap!-Power Test. They had a station on Old Country Rd in Westbury in the 60's.
  8. This is my first time reading this thread. I'm glad you recovered from whatever you had earlier this month. Your Superliner is looking better than ever.
  9. Welcome. Where's New Jersey?
  10. Very cool photos.
  11. Looks like a brochure photo, and I mean that in a good way.
  12. Nice fleet. The steel nose looks great as a tractor. Is Liedtka the same company that runs flatbeds?
  13. I've bobtailed with the single axle, spring ride R model in my avatar. It sounded like I was intentionally gooseing the accelerator when going over bumps because it was difficult hold steady pressure on the pedal. Shifting would actually be a bit easier with a bit of weight on the drives.
  14. No, but a combination padlock/allen wrench would be a rare find.
  15. Third vote for Warrior. That's a very unique livery.
  16. They offer valet parking. I though you were kidding about GalvTech and being in Pittsburgh with the truck that day. I'd love to offer to help but I honestly won't know if or when I'll be able to make it until the morning of the show.
  17. I think the RB was the best looking of the modern R/DM vocational hoods. This one is a bit unusual looking but at least he didn't butcher it.
  18. Looks great. The upholstery adds a nice touch to the exterior look.
  19. Get much snow in the winter?
  20. The grille appears to be in great shape also. My favorite pickups vary depending on the year. For 67-72 it's GM but 53-56 it's Ford all the way, with the '56 cab being my favorite of those. My Uncle owned a Texaco station on LI and had a '59 1 ton as a wrecker. The doors looked the same but I believe the cab was larger. Why do many of these have small-block Chevy motors? Are they more readily available or is there another reason?
  21. Good to see the Blackwell Photoshop legacy will be kept alive by future generations. What kind of car did the girl on 501 have? I'd date her if she has a cool car. We could get together the next time I need to run the Ohio Turnpike. Did you camp out at the Kirby rest area on I-79 (mm5) in PA at all last week? I went by there one night and saw a hideous KW anteater truck that looked similar to yours hooked to a flatbed. I couldn't read the name because it was night time and the sun went down and it was dark which made it difficult to see with minimal lighting.
  22. Ever listen to Alan Colmes? His phones would be dead if it weren't for Conservatives trying to penetrate his thick skull with some common sense.
  23. I'm not surprised to see he has 7 bids with 3 days left. I drove a few '99 9200's as well as an '01. The 99's had the old cab from the 1970's. They were all very reliable and you felt like you were in a truck when driving them.
  24. Looks great. What's the hp rating?
