Our Dacusville SC show on Labor Day weekend is our best..
  3. Back in the 70's when I drove for Matlack hauling for AGWAY farm suppply we blended any where between 25% to 50%, depending on weather and distributor specs, kero and #2 fuel in one hole barrel trailers while loading.
  4. Welcome to the BMT site.. I see you are from Western NY, I am from the Finger Lakes now in South Carolina.. We love pictures!!! As long as they are not of snow butt deep to a 10 foot Indian!! She did not ask to see the number stamped in the the frame and I DID NOT suggest it to her!!!!

  8. Katahdin is a beautiful sight from I-95.. I have seen it going north with a full moon on the snow at 20-30 degrees below zero. One of those beautiful nights when you could run on marker lights ONLY at times!!!!!
  9. TJC, That is a beautiful truck!!! Thanks for posting it.
  10. CITY BOY!!!!!!!!! For me it is close to 1/2 hour to thee nearest gas station, which does not have non ethanol!!!
  11. 99&44/100 % of the DMV workers in all states DO NOT know what the laws actually are!!!!!!! They just go by what pops up on their computer screen. Contact the Public Relations officer for what ever department that the "Diesel Cops" work for and you can usually get the proper answers as they are the personnel working the scale houses and make the roadside stops. Get it in writing (printout) and take it to the DMV and say "this is what I need"!!!!!!! We are lucky to have such a person as a chapter member and he has straightened out several DMV offices.
  12. At least in Nu Joisey you do not have far to go to PA and get some.. Be Glad you do NOT live in the middle of Texas or Montana!!!!!!
  13. Get in contact with an ATHS and/or ATCA Chapter member in your area and see what they have done to keep legal.. Our chapter has a member who is a retired SC State "Diesel Cop" and he has connections with some higher ups in the DMV so we get much useful information from him.
  14. AND ALWAYS Use ethanol free gas whenever possible!!!!
  15. I ran mine dry about 4 years ago and it started right up after the Hurricane.
  16. Larry, Thanks for keeping us updated on this interesting project.. I will be looking forward to more pictures..
  17. I do not know if the Mack group in the Netherlands comes on here??? But Vlad I think (??) has some contact info on them.. Maybe they could find a Renault Dealer in Europe?????
  18. Great to hear you are still with us!!!! Keep us posted on your activities.
  19. All I got was a big black square??????
  20. I have been pricing them.. Plan on $14-15K for whatever brand.. That is turnkey...
  21. You gotta plan better!!!!!! Always plan on a couple of days to be a tourist!!!!
  22. Dean, send an email to Doug Maney??? I have his address if you need it.. PM/Email me..
  23. Check wit Doug Fetterly of Harrisville NY. He will probably be at the VTOP shoow in Bushnell FL on the Jan 25 &25 weekend. If he does not have one he knows the real name and contact info for past user "U Model Nut" who might have one.
  24. And they must pop out at automatically and set the parking brakes at a set low pressure value.. If I remember correctly it is about 60 PSI ??????? Most roadside "Diesel Cop" inspections the cop will remove the emergency line from the trailer and record the PSI that the button pops.. If it is too low you are grounded!!
  25. When planning a trip to the Mack Museum also add the America on Wheels museum downtown Allentown to your list.. It was established by both Mack and Andretti money.
