It is not just the recent stuff.. My 92 Caddy, if you leave the keys in it with it shut ,off it will lock the doors with the keys in it so if you not have a spare lock key on another ring you are S-O-L!!!!! Ask me how I know!!!!!

That is the Diamond T 931 which is a squared of version of the 921 which was the "China Closet". Yest that is a sleeper on the back of the cab.. Also a carry over from the 921. This is my 1959 model 921.

My daughter gave us one about 6-7 years ago before they moved.. It still sits in the garage right where I unloaded it!!!!!

I would say the 8V-71 as when I worked for Roadway 1969 to 1972 all the R-700s had 8V-71's. I know the Akron Ohio shop had rebuilt engines on the shelf. Would swap engines and have the tractor back on the road in less than half a day.. -

Supposedly the short bumpers were to keep the ends from affecting the operation of the steering tires when hit and pushed back.. Went from the short bumper to rubber ends and today they are mostly fiberglass?/ -

Actually it is the same cab as the R model, just offset to the left even with the left fender.. What made it cramped was more engine in it.. Bigger doghouse.. -
Rent a camper one way and fly the other.. We moteled it and it is 100 miles between towns so you either had to stop early or hunt for one late.. There are plenty of pull offs to park and spend the night..

I am the same way.. When we went to the Yakima WA show, then to Alaska and back, About the only time we were on the Interstate is when the old US Hwy got on for a few exits..

My Neighbor was running a reefer the west coast at that time with a KW and Big Cat, 5X4.. He had to run pantyhose over the air filters inlets as a precleaner to keep them from plugging up with volcanic ash..

But neither of them had a 1 piece windshield.. And it does Not look like the IH Compfovision cab either??? Totally flat windshield with the wipers mounted above it.. This truck may have a Diamond T chassis and power train but that whole cab assembly came from somewhere else!!!!!

I got my Diamond T that way.. The old man did not want to sell.. stopped by about every 6 months to BS and listen to his stories.. 2 years later he passed away on one of his sons called me to see if I still wanted it..

I live in an 1800 Sq FT stick house also.. I do NOT know how old parts of it are, But the ceiling joists are rough sawed lumber and I found one Ceder Log as a floor joist..

It took 20 years from the time we bought the house until they ran the natural Gas.. The new furnace we installed many years ago had interchangeable nozzles so it was an easy change
