  1. You and your son should buy it to complement your AM General!!! I think (??) that the hood is factory??? The fender inserts are because the 6X6 sits higher and the same with the headlights as some states / countries have height laws for headlights...

  5. Have you looked on McMaster Carr ( I think that is the right name???) Tom Millard, of Scranton PA, Used a lot of their hardware when he was restoring his Brockways.. I have his email addy if you need it..

  8. I do NOT think so. The overall shape of the grader area is different, hydraulic blade controls different, and a different name plate..

  10. I have seen one of the Farmall M's converted to a grader at Stew Paquette's museum in Leesburg FL where he used to host the ATCA Vintage Trucks of Florida winter show.

  12. Do not know about phones, But on you desk top go to your picture section, create a new folder and name it. The right click on the picture here and in the drop down menu chose "save image as" and send it to the new folder.. You may have to play with it to make it work!!
  13. Is this gas or diesel???? IF gas be sure to use ethanol FREE gas!! Laced with Sta-Bil... With regular gas the ethanol will separate, eat up rubber hoses, fuel pump & carbs rubber components, turn to brown sludge, and draw moisture.. If diesel add some algae killer just to be on the safe side. You could transition to the Antique and Classic section. Not sure about North Carolina, but most states consider 25 years old to be eligible for Antique / Historical plates and insurance. If you are an ATHS member, Haggerty offers a discount.. What do you plan to do with it as these plates and insurance have some restrictions.

  20. James, Was the tipped engine you remember seeing a Mack or Cummins???? I have never see a tipped Mack, But I have see a lot of that configuration in Cummins.
  21. I was in Bear Creek AL delivering a load of scarp copper. The fourth plane was still in the air and everybody was worried about it heading for the nuclear power generating plants on the Tennessee river near Florence AL.
  22. Looking great!!!! Are you putting the bull bar back on the front??? Do you hang plastic sheets up or pull it outside to paint to keep the over spray out of the garage????
  23. I think what you have is a slow oil return from the overhead??? Try pulling the valve covers and make sure the oil return holes are not clogged with sludge..
  24. You are right!!! I see the other booms up in the trees now.. I was only looking at the one behind the Ford..
