    Tommy, Your truck looks great!!!!!!! But I still think you have to do the two tone green thing on the wheels and rims??? Do a photo shop on the parking lot picture and see what you think..

    I think a good solenoid cleaning is all you need??? Be sure to pull the plunger and hit it and the barrel with some emery cloth to remove any corrosion.

    Harry, Thank you for these pictures. Thank you for mentioning Dan Thomas up here in the States. I have seen Dan Thomas's Valueliner at several shows. ATHS Lexington KY, York PA, and twice at ATCA Macungie PA, But I do not seem to find a picture of it? I forget how many Km's it has on it , But Dan always flies a couple of Aussies up here to drive it to the eastern USA shows. I also think (??) it spent a year in the Mack Museum in Allentown after it's first Macungie showing. I Know it is in the ATHS Showtime book, at least 2 different years, but I do not know how to steal the pictures!

    There is a racing shop in Iowa who can build you a Plexiglass replacement.. My friend had them build replacement windshields for his 1959 Diamond T 921C with the "China Closet" cab. In searching for a replacement he found several people who need windshields and I think (??) they got a volume deal. PM me and I can send you his email address to make a contact in Iowa..

    I know Australia has 240 volts.. I bought an adapter here in the States before we went Down Under to charge camera and phones ETC.. If England has a different power status you should be able to find an adapter.. Although you really do not need a block heater for starting until the temperature gets below 30 degrees Fahrenheit, 0 degrees Celsius..

    The Mack R model and Brockway 700 series cabs were made by Sheller Globe company also of Orville (??) OH.. The cabs were not totally interchangeable, especially in the cowl area as Mack used a tilt hood and Brockway was still using a Butterfly hood. I wonder if Orville Body made the Brockway integral sleepers???

    Thank You.. I have seen those trucks with a 90 degree turntable for the hoist and body. Going to be a long slow process having to do it that way..

    OK, Dumb Butt question???? How do you get the rock into the dump position??? Is that a road beside the rails on the far side???

    Those floor mounted dimmer switches tend to collect dirt and water and corrode back up the wires a long ways as well as the plug corrodes..

    May be no help, But search Upstate New York truck salvage yards. They might know of a township or county highway dept that would have manuals left on the shelf??? The Mack RM 4X4 was a very poplar double wing plow truck in the "Lake Effect" snow region east of Lake Ontario. Get out your Rand McNally atlas and you will see the area I am speaking of..

    Thus taking longer to build up oil pressure in a cold engine..

    By taking the ferry they are a shallow enough draft to take the inland channel and do commercial work. These pictures were taken at Ketchikan or Wrangell. This man put a 40 or 45 foot reefer in the side door of the ferry.

    Bob, I am glad you enjoyed your cruise.. Never been on a cruise ship, BUT have taken the car ferry to Alaska twice.. First from Prince Rupert BC to Sitka Alaska. After pulling a 12 foot U-Haul trailer with my F-150 from Bar Harbor Maine!!!! Second time from Bellingham, Wash to Haines Alaska via Sitka Alaska. Great scenery and saw some whales on both trips.
