We had -5* again last night with a little more snow for a total of 17"-18". It's up to 11* and the sun is out for awhile till a flurry goes thru. l'm waiting on that before l go and clean up with my favorite old Bolens "Miss Junkie". Going to go down to -4* tonight on the forecast. Start getting ready for this weekend snow storm they say is coming. Forecast from Mt. Washington,     .....Hippy

they are calling for 6+ inches of snow this weekend.  however they called for 15+ inches here and we got just under 2..  25 degrees here now.

guys finally showed up about 1 hour ago to clear me driveway out. had to pull the F150 out because the drift in front/under it was too big to drive through.

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

Nice weather Paul.We are rained out of it here.According to the weather people we have had 6 times the average rainfall for January...They say the polar air mass affecting the US has blocked a deep low pressure system centered just west of Ireland and spead up the jet stream collecting a massive amount of moist air and dumped it on us and the UK along with strong gale force winds.The country is flooded with main roads impassable and rail services suspended.Ferry services are also suspended Even large cargo ships are staying in port.Air traffic is operating but with delays.....Roll on the summer!!!
