It was kind of a long story truck was in really good shape though and we got it for almost nothing. It fitted around the steering shaft. I was hoping he didn't need to see the engine because...well, because he's the insurance man. It's a 351M out of a 78 Cougar, but it looks like a Sonny Leonard mountain motor in that truck. And I'm sure the aluminum Intake and valve covers and chrome breather make it look more hot rodded than it is. Never had a 351M. Had a 400M in my 79 Bronco with a edelbrock Aluminum intake and a Holley 650 4-barrel.
