The best bet is a perfect one is on an ashtray. Both big and small bulldogs are on the trays. If the finish is shinny it is Gold plated. I actually had an ashtray with a big size bulldog on it.I gave it to a good friend of mine long story, but he deserved it gave it up. I really liked it and now I wish I had it back. my old friend has since passed. I go over there and visit his wife occasionally, but I haven’t got the nerve to ask for it back. I’m kind of waiting to see if she offers it one of these days. The one relation (a beautician) used to set me up with all sorts of cool stuff I was too young to know enough to save. Sweat shirts, hats, all sorts of things with the bulldog on them. Ash trays. tie tacks. key rings, cups of all sorts. I even had a Mack 3 ring binder from the Signal era. I lived in farm country, northern Ohio in the 70s; we had a 4 person party line.
