It ran great.  It has never left the city lomits in its near 30 years of life. When I parked it, there were no drips, or bad smells..  next time i drive it i may were ear muffs. 😁

I had a pump motor on an RGN. Came out of a power generating station. Had to take the center boards out of the RGN for the shaft to sit down between the rails. I remember it being heavy as well as tall.

That was a big sucker!

That's  a sweet looking truck.  I would take a 6 speed. Ive drove the 7spd,  and i sucked at it, the shift gates are too close and I would screw up.  Of course, that truck was in my life in 2000...  i may be a bit better at it today.....  nahh, just kidding..

Started tearing down these extra set of CRD92/93 diffs for gear swap and full rebuild. Old army truck surplus i found cheap. 6.56 gears but barely any wear on them, but they have been sitting for AWHILE.

Should be a fun project....

Well the City bought me a new truck. ...  Just kidding. They replaced the slow A$$ Mack ASET underpowered truck, with this new Freight shaker. It's got a big Cummins and an Eaton 10 spd. Hendrickson Spring ride. Locking axles and diffs. That crane had a good smooth ride.

I didnt go far, just across town. We are having a public event tomorrow called, ''Touch a Truck'' it's for kids to come and see all the cool trucks and equipment we have. They get to climb in them and blow air horns and such.  I will try to post pictures..

When I got in the truck it only 126 miles on it..

nothing like a NEW truck. the 2019 Kenworth T880 triaxle had 97 miles it when i got it. the 2022 T880 tandem had 200 miles, the 22 triaxle had 245 miles, and the 24 T880 had 110 miles.

the 19 has well over 400k miles on it now and looks like it has not been washed since the last time i washed it in april of 22.

the tandem has 31k on it, the 22 triaxle has 34k miles on it, and the 24 just turned 21k miles.

we downsized drastically after 2021 with just the boss and i running the 3 dumps, the lowboy, and mason dump for the past 4 years.

when i got sick we hired a friend that had just retired to help out.
