My Brother bought it and is going to restore it. It even still has the U-700 emblem on the cab! Popular Post Maxidyne Posted November 10, 2017 Popular Post Share Posted November 10, 2017 U795s are rare enough- They were mostly built for carriers that needed the power to pull turnpike doubles in a short BBC conventional that would be legal with a 45' trailer in the 55' overall length limit off the turnpike. But according to the horn button, this one was bought by a construction company in Pennsylvania, a state that didn't even allow turnpike doubles. My dad had a small terminal in Jacksonville FL in the early 70's and I remember seeing some of those you're talking about. I don't know if they were CF trucks that I saw.
