tjc transport Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 had that happen back in 88 in Red Bank NJ. crackhead forgot to lift the plow as he was crossing the railroad tracks doing 35PH, and the cutting edge hit the rail perfectly. stood a V-8 powered 75 DM800 straight up in the air.had to get a crane to lift the truck off the plow and put it on the lowboy so i could bring it home.it also ripped the front axle out of the truck, and almost knocked the fuel tanks off. HeavyGunner Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Happened with on Maria's Pass once too. Plow truck was plowing a wide spot where they can get turned around on a two lane highway. Turn around is just left over black top paved on a natural wide spot. No gravel or compaction and the driver hit a big frost heave hidden by the snow.
