Popular Post david wild Posted January 23, 2016 Popular Post Share Posted January 23, 2016 Obama makes it his life's mission to destroy the coal industry, which he has done, it's the only thing that he said he would do that he really did, or at least the EPA did for him, now the libs ride around in there little shoe box cars saving the environment one gallon at a time all the while supporting O crap for brains for cleaning up the air.But world wide coal fired power plant construction is at a all time high, so every third world nation is building coal plants at record rates and of course not installing any environmental controls like those mandated here. that means that we now pay more for our power, we have destroyed many good paying jobs, even the rail roads are laying people off due to coal shipments going down and the beloved environment is going to be worse off. There you go, another Obama stupid plan gone wrong, He does not understand anything other than praise AllahThe jerk off in the White House is a complete asswipe and should be tried for treason, if you do not do what is best for our country and you are the leader than you are guilty of treason and should be beheaded like Muslim law dictates. Red Horse Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Well I think beheading is a little strong but I would not mind seeing him jumping out of the back of an E-350 van with flashing yellow lights on the roof and wearing a yellow jump suit preparing to pick up litter along I-95.But I have been thinking about all the attention to global warming while we do NOTHING to strong arm the big polluters like China and India. We shut down our coal and oil burning power plants, cripple our foundry industry (as an example) and then look the other way when it comes to these third world shit holes. One 1000 mega watt nuclear or coal plant if it were replaced by wind power would require 300 plus 100 foot high windmills running non stop 24 hours a day 365 days a year. I am guessing that at most those windmills would run 1/5 of the time. That equates to 1500 100 foot high windmills. May bee we could mount a wind powered beanie on top of Obummer's head and hook him up to the grid. Add electronics failures@ 4 days per unit, gear box failures @ 14 days per unit, blade failures @ 30 to 90 days off line. These figures are for 1.5 mega watt units. You times the down times for failures or maintenance by 8% per additional mega watt and 40% for off shore units. I was seriously considering a very large investment in solar panels on our farm buildings.So very very very much work has to be done in order for wind and solar to make much of a difference.Google the Duck Curve.....
