It also states that healthcare.gov has had roughly 19 million unique visits, which confirms that the American people are looking for quality, affordable health coverage, and want to find it online.US population = roughly 316,915,890 people.Obamacare website has 19,000,000 unique visitors...so about 6% of the population has visited the site...and of those people, a whopping 500,000 applications have been received. In other words, 2.6% of the 6% of the population who have viewed the website has actually applied for coverage. 1/10 of 1% of the population has applied...and THAT allegedly "confirms" that Americans want this crap? And how many of those applications were duplicates? I was told by a union rep that since our insurance rates are locked until July1 2015 at that time we will more than likely see our rates double if not triple and our copays and out of pocket triple in an effort for the company and insurance agency to get some money back. I am just about fed up with the fed screwing the working man in an effort to sustain their voter base with handouts, it really makes me sick to my stomach every time I see someone using an EBT card now. As I recall America was founded as a country of people that wanted less government and were willing to work to earn their keep, those that were unwilling to work did without, those that were willing to do what needed to be done lived well, now those that will not have it easy and those that try to earn their living are finding it increasingly hard to maintain a decent level of financial stability, and are increasingly preyed upon by their govt for the funds they need to support those "will nots". I am not a racist, I am not against freedom of religion, freedom of speech or any of the other freedoms our once great country was built upon and I believe every man should be able to do what he wishes with what he has earned. However when I hear that a certain group, be it a religious group, other ethnicity, race,color or creed wants to threaten what I have worked for this far into my life by way of taking more from me to give to them or saying that they are owed something just because of their race,color, or religion I get freaking furious, when do I get to stand up and say "I'M DONE" I will not give any more for someone else to have what I work for given to them for free "GO GET A JOB OR STARVE", when can I actually get to keep more than 70% of what I earn? Well on saturday's speech Mr Obama mentioned that if the ACA system has to many bugs to work out he (with the senates help) will switch it to the Single Payer System under HHS control and most of the private sector health system. Seems there was a small two line rider with all the rest of the pork in the latest budget delay legislation that will allow this. Seems to me like ACA was designed to fail in 18 to 24 months of implamentation, so he can get his original European Style plan in, so the Feds have full control of your health and well being... I will abide by the ACA law by paying my $95.00 "fine".
