Popular Post BAD DOG Posted June 17, 2013 Popular Post Share Posted June 17, 2013 I got 8 used drive tires this week. I got 7 of them mounted and on the truck this afternoon. The last one we ran out of either, so we'll get it this week. Took some pics of it out in the yard, I'm going to go with the 7 1/2" stainless visor we got earlier in the week, just need to fasten it on. the stubborn one waiting for either treatment. I had a spectator watching off in the distance my 3 yr old nephew came over watched his dad and I blow up a couple of stubborn tires. We told him to not attempt this trick at home. I got 8 30% virgin Chinese casings for $100 a piece. 4 matching tread for one axle and 2x2 for the other but at least they all match up height wise could have bought a nice set of 8 virgin BF Goodrich's at 50% tread they wanted $200 a piece for those too rich for my blood. I figure if I'm going to spend that on used ones I might as well buy new ones. Good used virgin casings are tough to find anymore no one changes tore prematurely anymore.I got the visor fastened on Sunday looks good for the price.got 4 black Mack rubber mudflats with the dog in the oval in white ordered at Mack in London going to pick em up saturday on my way to truck show at Clifford ont. hope to get full fenders on this weekend. Popular Post BAD DOG Posted July 22, 2013 Author Popular Post Share Posted July 22, 2013 I'm going to take the angles for the fifth wheel slider to machine shop a have the holes milled into slots and then I can re paint them and paint the centre brackets red. Still have to get the stainless strips made for the flaps I have for the front of the fenders. My sheet metal guy ran out of stainless the other day.
