  1. Wow! Makes those Aussie road trains look short
  2. Would love to see some pics if you wouldn't mind. I love mopar stuff, always wanted to turbo charge or supercharge one and put it in 38 Chrysler Business coupe.http://41.media.tumblr.com/290f77ae6354f7055d6ef4a24d320577/tumblr_n5agyxheCG1sfbpmso1_400.jpg https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/93/c0/e7/93c0e7b094f5dad39c1241767245a9db.jpg
  3. Blasphemi build on Road Kill
  4. Did you watch the 55 Blasphemi build on Road Kill Paul? It's on Motor Trend's channel on YouTube, if you haven't seen Road Kill or Dirt Every Day you'll have to catch up. I found a 331 Hemi in a 2 ton dodge grain truck and made the mistake of telling a "friend" about it and the little prick snitched it from underneath me.
  5. Nice pics, keep em coming Tim.
  6. Yeah no kidding, I was wondering what their repair bills looked like as well. Would be fun to drive like that if you didn't have to pay for it at the end.
  7. Or should've rehabilitated them then returned them a changed yellow jacket back into society
  8. Pretty impressive where these guys were taking trucks and trailers through.
  9. Truck looks cool but the B&M shifter looks awful on that truck.
  10. Better get yer scatter gun and take care of him.
  11. Yeah me too. In another thread recently a guy wanted to update his fleet and I made a similar suggestion. Pay higher wages to drive a WELL MAINTAINED older fleet and word would eventually get out about a better paying job. I'll probably be hung on here for saying this but if I had to buy my own truck it would be a kenworth or maybe a Pete with a 3406E in it. Drove one for years and never had any problems. Simple engine that ran for ever, got decent mileage and did I say ran forever? I'm not familiar enough with Macks to know or recommend any model or engine because they are rare in these parts.
  12. Really sharp looking truck
  13. Lipstick on a pig.
  14. Those are the recent years I was referring to. Our embarrassment in the White House certainly keeps stoking the fires around this phony hot button issue. The worst part is the majority can't and won't take the time to see how far we've dug ourselves in the hole in more than one way.
  15. Frat prank or not the criminal IS an adult and should know right from wrong by now. As usual the media runs with the sob story cops are bad so all white people are bad angle and they wonder why racial tensions have drastically increased in recent years.
  16. 1. Listen to the cops even if they are in the wrong. Court is the place to argue with the law. 2.Our media should be ashamed and prosecuted for sensatoinalizing stories that have literally caused riots and deaths just for ratings. 3. The public should be ashamed for letting this go on AND believing it. See above. 4. By simply going off of what you reported kscarbel that the criminal was shot running away yeah that's excessive IF he simply turned and ran. The criminal shouldve listened to the cops. That being said we don't know if the criminal struggled with the officer or reached in his waistband etc. so it's a little early for reasonable people (not the media) to come to any solid conclusion. 5. The media should again be prosecuted in my opinion for spinning any story, especially inflammatory ones like this. Like you said he's not a fine upstanding citizen he likely is a young career criminal that white, male usually conservative Christians that have kept him down which is why he is acting out.
  17. Our embarrassment in the White House flat out said he doesn't want us to be leaders of the world or achieve anymore than any other country and the 47% are following his instructions to a T with the help of bogus media and corrupt politicians steering this race war (yeas I said it, race war) that they want so they so they can keep us "occupied" and the continue getting the 47%ers to vote for them while they do whatever the hell they want.
  18. Yep it sucks knowing that now matter how well you keep your equipment up and follow the rules some doofus can pull you over and write you a ticket no matter what.
  19. The dd15 is waaaaaay more reliable than the series60 with dpf, and has a noticeable power gain over the 60 even when rated at the same hp. I can't speak for new Mercedes engines but we finally got rid of our last one and the guys couldn't be happier they were gone. They really lacked power and seemed to not have any torque. As soon as you put that engine under load that engine would drop off so fast if you weren't familiar with it you looked like a rookie driver because you had to drop so many gears. Now granted the engine likely would've done better like all of our engines would with the proper transmission for our application. We do lots of off-roading and haul heavy with 10 speeds. The only truck that is ok not great with 10sp is our spare tractor with a c15 but no one wants to drive it because it has a crummy auto shift in it which gets you stuck or powers out on hills and gets you stuck.
  20. Exactly! My dad owns his own logging company and when a family member from outa town asked if he watched axemen he gruffly said "hell no I don't watch that shit, if logging was that damned dramatic I wouldn't do it." Like maddog said all of these reality shows make whatever profession they are filming look like a bunch of jackasses due to crummy scripting filled with ridiculous drama. Never have had cable or dish or even rabbit ears, until Netflix came out I just bought movies I liked and watched them.
  21. And don't forget truckers Paul. I know it's not exactly the same but in a sense truckers are profiled meaning we can be pulled over at anytime, for no reason at all and can be given a ticket For any petty thing and most Dot officers know we don't have the time or means to fight this. On top of that we have special laws and regulations working against us even though we are a miniscule percent of accidents. Even with this unfair treatment and "profiling" I never hear of truckers shooting at law enforcement or burning down our own town.
  22. Interesting, never thought of using boiling water on the little buggers.
  23. Wow you sure are lucky OD! Out here in BFE we don't have car washes and even if we did no folks like that around. It's been said this area is hard on horses and women, this is all I see on my outings and taking one could still technically get you hung in Montana.
  24. Remember yellow jackets and wasps often will bite and latch on as they give you multiple stings. If you find the nest at first or last light when they are least active give 'em a good shot of ether, no fire needed. Usually will kill a nest with one good dose.
