  1. Neat pics thanks for sharing
  2. Ok I must be mistaken in the 11 hr thing. Thanks for clearing that up.
  3. I had the same luck as farmer52 with Fresh Cab, had some luck with a product called Mouse Out but the name has been changed to squeak out. It's a thin grease in an aerosol can originally made for aircraft (or so says my airplane mechanic friend) and it was found to also allegedly repel mice but since that's not what it's labeled for they had to change the name to Squeak Out. At least that's the story I was told and it did seem to help some but carefully placed poison would probably be your best bet in my opinion.
  4. I thought that if you go over 11hrs a day even if you were under the 100 mile radius from home base you have to fill out a log book to account for your time? I am home every night, never leave the state or country and have to fill out a log because I drive just out of the 100 mile radius from my home terminal.
  5. Carlotpilot- I'm only 3 1/2 hrs away from kalispell. I grew up over in that neck of the woods. Good one Vlad, it is nice to see a Mack on occasion in these parts.
  6. Was a little snow but lots of freezing fog the last week or so.
  7. Never seen a Mack in my town and tonight there's 3 of them. The middle one is painted the same color as our state dot plow trucks so I assume that's where it's headed and I'm guessing the cab over is destined to haul garbage some day.
  8. We are to either turn down the load if it will put us over but if something happens in the field like getting stuck or halving a sale valve frozen we have to first call our supervisor to get "approval" to go over our 14 hrs or they have the burden rectifying the situation somehow. It's getting to be like a government job where I time my day by my breaks instead of my loads so I can comply.
  9. When they bringing that display to Butte? Butte helped raise money for the resto, scroll to the bottom. http://evelknieveldays.org/sponsors/
  10. Shock sells, remember the Rollingstones cover of the dirt bag that bombed Boston?
  11. I've personally ran into this very problem. We were told thst when we switched to hand logs notate at such and such time elogs failed and if the dot were to give us more trouble the dispatcher can email or fax the previous seven days to them. I've never had an elogs fail for more than an hour so usually I don't ever need to hand log. I work a three day work schedule and the elogs make it tough to get your 40/hrs in for me because if your 1 minute over 14 hrs it sends an email off to everyone In the company and you get your butt chewed. Our production has gone way down because of that and if you go 2 mph over the speed limit the elog tells on you. Thank god I'm being compensated by the hour and no longer by what I accomplish.
  12. they do use gps signals. Our dispatcher can look at any time on his computer and see exactly where we're at for how long, how fast we go, if we don't stop at stop signs or railroad tracks, if our pto is engaged and even if our seatbelt is in. Welcome to the technological age woo hoo .
  13. Well remember the 08 olympics in China? Athletes refused to go there at first because of smog and China had to shut down a bunch of industrial parks. That's when glyphosate went through the roof because unexpectedly China couldn't flood the USA market.
  14. They use that crane to pick empty oil tanks off the trailer and set on the ground to replace an oil tank or at a new tank battery. I'm sure it's used for some other stuff too all in the oil field.
  15. Yeah it's probably is. It all goes up to the tar sands in Canada from here.
  16. Here's an old dog with a crane Here's a big dump box Being hauled in pieces. Pretty sure it's for a Mack.
  17. What about Olivetroad? I haven't seen him on here in a real long time.
  18. Piss on Mexifornia! They pollute far more than most states yet they try and regulate the rest of us pests from doing anything. Both coasts (new York and Mexifornia) have been trying hard since the 90's to turn Montana into a park. The unfortunate thing is most out of staters that move here seem to have deeeep pockets and lots of time on their hands to campaign against anything they don't like and money to grease some pockets to get what they want. Look up the buffalo park Obummer and the hippies been trying to put in eastern Mt. None of the local ranchers want it and yet the 2 coasts seem to get to decide what's best for us and keep pushing for the park and buying up land that they have started putting buffalo on. Our Forest Service is a joke run by tree huggers and should be abolished since they literally do not manage our forests since special interest groups from both coasts throw a lot of money at them. All the Forest service does here is close more roads on public land and watch fires burn since we don't log here anymore. In the last 30 years there has been over 100 mills closed here. Then we get elf and peta who lobby against anything except tree hugging and bunny petting and they have got huge sections of public land closed part of the year or all of the year for bs reasons like the dust caused by your pickup on the mountain top will eventually get into the mountain stream and kill the bull trout which is our latest buzz word animal to save. Remember those forest fires I spoke of earlier? Those don't seem to hurt the fish, animals, birds or trees because it's natural. I know this post was a bit wordy but I HATE watching out of state idiots with more money than brains ruin our state. Every time they close a road or stop a logging job or shut down a gravel pit because we are disturbing the forests I want to ask the person why don't you go back to Mexifornia or New York and start tearing down that city that has completely wiped out the ecosystems that it was built over. It probably wouldn't even compute to the person I was telling and I would get even more frustrated.
  19. Well ya blew my Back to the Future theory all to hell 😆 But I can definitely say I don't envy the traffic you deal with. There are some perks to living in BFE.
  20. What a creepy looking fella that guy was. Standing stiff as a statue on some little scooter device. Think it has anything to do with it being Back to the Future week? 😜
  21. Glad your enjoying it.
  22. OH that's nasty! Laughing and gagging at the same time.
  23. You'd look slick towing this behind that short box dodge.
