  1. Thanks Vlad, I'm sure you've got some great scenery in Russia too.
  2. Looks like Herd bumpers on the superliner
  3. It would be an awesome truck to have. I better get a shop up first since it didn't get put up last summer like it was supposed to.
  4. It would make a bad ass rv.
  5. So they'll call white people terrorists but not Muslims? typical pc media and government.
  6. I agree it's foolish to run from the cops but what really irks me is the double standard. If you're black you can reach into a police car, try and grab the cops gun after not complying with him, showing definitively an act of aggression and the media is non stop 24 hr Leo bashing. But if your white and you get shot while being unarmed the media makes up the story to sound like something totally different.
  7. Maybe trucking outfits figured out that one well placed deer in the middle of your radiator is way more costly than putting a grill guard in. The company I work for has one on every truck. We do a lot of driving in the dark and on little used dirt roads so hitting deer is common.
  8. With New York's pc, pos, pita mayor running things I hear on the news how this behavior has sky rocketed. Just the other day I heard on the news a homeless guy was filmed crapping in a Starbucks and the week before that another homeless guy crapping on the sidewalk. I know New York City folk thinks people living in the country are dirty and gross but I beg to differ. No one craps outside here unless it's in an outhouse or in the remote wilderness.
  9. I guess basic etiquette being expected of everyone wanting to live in a communal setting is "rigging" the system?! Glad I live nowhere near that craphole, pun intended.
  10. Had to go back over the mountains to attend some family business. Mountains definitely were whiter than at Christmas. A big 4x4 plow truck. Osh Kosh? The snow really came down at times. Antelope sunning themselves. My two sleepy copilots
  11. Yeah nothing sounds like an old two stroke Detroit. My dad tells a story of a Canadian guy who sold Timberjack parts he would drive across the border at Polebridge and meet with my grandpa and dad to sell them skidded parts. Dad said he had a seventies era ford 4x4 and he stuffed a 353 non turboed, non supercharged Detroit in it. Dad said he'd get out of the pick up and pull his ear plugs out and dad asked him one day if it was worth it and the Canadian told him yeah the mileage is incredible. My dad still chuckles to this day when he tells that story.
  12. Great video.
  13. That's what she said!-Micheal Scott Dunder Mifflin Regional Manager
  14. Is it one of those rigs that drills a hole then sets off a charge and measures the seismic reading to search for oil? I don't even know how they chose where to punch a hole in the ground for oil back then.
  15. Kudos for Ariens to have big enough balls to call a spade a spade. Next time I need a piece of equipment I'll definitely give them a look. Support US business, especially ones that don't cower to PC BS.
  16. I see OshKosh 4 & 6 wheel drive plows around here once in awhile. Saw one with a Detroit powered snowblower on it.
  17. It's frozen in a few spots but not solid like normal. There were lots of icebergs floating in it that day so it seems it's really trying to frees up. Winter came late this year might also factor into it not freezing.
  18. Nice colors. Sharp looking truck.
  19. Got to love Cut Bank. I unload a few miles north of Cut Bank. Never cared for that area much, always cool even in the summer and always windy.
  20. I've wondered the same thing. To me as an uneducated truck driver it would seem that fuel costing less SHOULD give trucking out fits a bigger margin and lower freight prices some which SHOULD mean lower retail prices for us the consumer who I turn has more of a disposable income because $4 gas isn't eating all the extra money up. So instead of the entire $4 going straight to fuel it can be divvied up among things like restaurants, movies, hobbies/toys or more fuel to go visit somewhere which boosts tourism. I just don't seem where affordable fuel hurts us other than the rich aren't getting richer as fast.
  21. Congrats Timmy.
  22. Yeah that's cold for sure. I've seen it right around -40 here too. I wish I could find the link for the articlemthe local news paper did on the cold spell we had. It was really impressive, I remember something about 100 days straight the high never reached 32 degrees and 60 some days the high was in the single digits or something like that. All I know is 2010 was a piss ass cold winter here. I ice fished October through April that year.
  23. yeah -4 this morning. yes it is. I love the solitude.
  24. Today I got up early and took Sally my Blue tick hound out to try and find a bobcat track for her to run. No such luck today but when the sun came out it was a pretty day. Looking down into the river bottom. Jumped a bunch of honkers off of the river. Montana traffic jam. I believe this is the last suspension bridge in Montana.
