  1. Nice Cummins powered LJ tractor at a show in Johnston, RI about 20 years ago.
  2. A paint "camera" sampled some E parts a few years ago and offered these colors for a DE project. Also used the same colors on an L cab B75 as pictured. Light color: 1989 Lexus, code 4EQ(9) K8581A Beige. Dark color: 1980 Toyota, code 135 N7940A alt: 1 Grey.

  7. One fellow said that the bourbon steadied his hand and helped him spell correctly. He spelled "firniture" on a delivery truck for a local furniture store when he wasn't at the right level of lubrication. The good old days of the mid 70's!

  10. Cruisers were made between 1975-1983 and F's until 1981.
  11. Could be as simple as a bad sending unit/gauge or it could be $$$$. Hard to say without doing some hands on investigation.

  13. That set up uses a spring clip to retain the horn button to the steering wheel. Here are a couple pictures showing what goes on. With the clip mounted in the shaft mounted cup, the horn button screws on using a 1/4 turn motion. The clip locks into internal slots in the horn button itself. A close look at your original button should reveal horizontal slots within the recess portion. Last picture showing clip in the button. I can't seem to find the electrical contact plate to take a picture. Memory says it is a round disc with internal pointing fingers. The fingers have a slight bend to provide spring action to return the horn button after use. Sorry, at the moment, I don't have spares.
  14. Nice gut punch with the electronics! More splits with OD should be nice though.
  15. The ATRO pads seem to last longer than the OEM version. The rattle is the spacer block blackdog mentioned and is Mack OEM 13QK246 and is available in the aftermarket as well.
  16. Nice truck and picture! The truck is a 1937 Studebaker J series.
