  1. Look on the cable to see if it has a P88, P94, P100. that will tell you how many inches it is, I had a P88 on my B model. i needed a longer one so i bought a P100, i bought mine from Mack it was $85 2 weeks ago.
  2. I have green in my B61 with a 300+, I went to an automotive store and bought mine. green worked for years before the red and never had any problems. if it was newer I would use red, that's what the coolant filter is for.
  3. I hope Volvo don't sell Mack to China, that would be bad.
  4. Radials are the only way to go, I have Firestones on the front of mine, Goodyear on the back. does not wander, rides better. I run 100psi the front 50-60 psi in the back unless I haul a heavy load.
  5. I bet it has a 2 stick 6 speed with a 237. if it is it is a good combo, does it have low, high, reverse on one stick and 5 speeds on the other.
  6. I would be interested in the exhaust brackets that bolts to the frame with out the muffler. Ron
  7. Thanks Bigdogtrucker. it made me sick to see that nice green & silver R model that Superdog posted pictures of taking a boat ride. I saw that truck at Gearharts couple - three years ago, that truck was nice
  8. That's it, anyone got $ 3500 laying around.
  9. Thanks IH too bad it didn't have a V8. how many speeds does it have, I would like to see pictures also. hope it works out alright. do you plan on taking it to Walcott, Iowa this year. Ron
  10. When you reply to every older Mack truck, any year, any model on here it sounds like you are going to EXPORT them. if you are going to use it then you know what year and model and price range you were looking for.
  11. There is a complete manifold system for an e9 that's been coated on ebay, forgot to look at the item#.
  12. I just bought a 100 inch speedometer cable, $ 85 at Mack. works like a champ
  13. how long did Fruehauf make fifth wheels, I was looking my old trucks over and noticed I had one on one of my trucks.
  14. Nice Cruisliner with a nice wheelbase, I like the sign looks like he took pride in his Cruisliners.
  15. I am glad you are not going from a classy truck like that to a Petercar, that R Model has more class than any Pete I have ever seen. Ron
  16. Nice looking Cruisliner Mike, looking forward to seeing it at Walcott. Mike is there was any chance you were going through Delphi, IN last week, my brother Mike thought he saw your Superliner with a dump trailer go thru town.
  17. At factory setting they had as much power as the 400 Cummins. at work we have a 90 CH with a E6, 9 speed, we haul a # 50,000 excavator no problem.
  18. 350 HP is just about the limit on the E6 and make it live, you only got 672 cubic inches. I know a guy that had 900,000 miles on a 84 Ultra Liner that just changed the mains and rods at 300,000 miles each time. if you want more power I would go with an E7 at 728 cubes.
  19. Didn't Freightliner have a cabover with a big grille that was called a Powerliner. I think it had a v 12 Detroit or some large power plant.
  20. I have changed 3-4 of them and its always been the oil cooler. I went to Mack and bought the whole cooler minis the ends, I think the last one I bought was $ 300.00 exchange at Mack last year.
  21. A metric bolt has a 12.5 or a 10.5 or some numbers like that on the socket end of the bolt.
  22. Yes Al, you can see in the picture it has the Mack trunion. we had a couple of ones in F models
  23. I will be there unless it snows. the way this years been it could be snowing. Ron
