  3. Anyone seen Floyd Keyes trucks at any shows, used to see him a Macungie. he had a couple nice trucks. the B model and I think an A model. the black B model is a Pete chassis with a Superliner sleeper, 400 Cummins. nice trucks for sure.
  4. The only trucks I have seen for CVS Pharmacy is Macks. Transport Service and Bulkmatic used to run a lot of Macks. does Quickway still run mostly Macks.
  5. It looks like a pusher, you can see the drive shaft on the back rear.
  6. The first truck I drove for my dad was a 67 F 700, 250 Cummins, 10 speed roadranger, 4.17 rears. we also had a 69 F 700 with a 335 Cummins, 13 speed roadranger. the 69 had a nice shiny black paint job, chrome grille, mirrors, bumper. wish we still had it.

  8. They need to go back to USA parts, the older parts just wore out after a lot of miles instead of breaking. he went to a hardware store and bought a roll of duct tape and some wire to get it to a Dodge dealer.
  9. My cousin bought a 2012 3500 Dodge new, it now has 35,000 miles on it and the tie rod end broke over the weekend. he said the had a recall on it. Dodges has had front end problems for a while from the guys that I know that's has or had them.

  12. You can go to Sterling Express Valparaiso,IN. they list a different phone number. I talked to owner last fall, he said it had 100,000 miles on an overhaul. E6-350, alum. wheels all around, 650,000 total miles. Ron

I see you are from Ill., last year there was Sterling Express on US route 6 around Portage,IN. that had a red & white 88 Superliner for sale. 350 Mack, Mack transmission, Mack 3.86 rears on newway airride, it had a 48" or so highrise walkin sleeper. was a nice & clean truck for $15,000. # 219 465 - 8560

  15. I bought 4-5 of them, put one on my truck. I guess I bought them just to have around like all the other B model parts that I am not using.
  16. There was a 69 White 9000 for sale down the road from the old Dixie truckers home in Mclean, IL. last year for $ 2,000, didn't look too bad. has a 250 cummins, 10 speed roadranger, velvet ride suspension. the guy said it had around 100000 total miles.

  18. When I put power steering on my B61 I bought a steering column from a power steering truck, then you have to get the smaller splined steering wheel to fit the column.
  19. Vision 386, I can tell you take pride in your truck. every time you post a picture of it its always spotless. you have a real nice older truck to be proud of, keep up the hard work.
  20. If I remember Truck World was a nice truck stop, don't know if it still is.
  21. Anyone know if Truck World ( I think ) is still around Youngstown OH. I used to stop in there when running I80.
  22. HA! HA! Al, been by there hundreds of times, never stopped in.
  23. Al naked city is Roselawn , IN. on route 10 west of interstate 65. they still have 2 nudist camps. one is Ponderosa sun club, the other is Aruba or something like that. I think I remember hearing about that truckstop. my dad and I used to haul grain to Chicago back in the early 70s.
  24. I think the Pro Star grille looks nicer than the cat grille.
  25. The one at Indy was Buds truckstop where the lot lizards hung out. that was Calumet in Chicago,IL where the 76 was, don't know what it is now.
