  1. It seems the scum bag is always trying to get everybody going about race. if he didn't steal from the poor people he wouldn't have a job.
  2. Looks like its in nice shape Mike, nice find. I would like to do something with my 73 RS795, love the sound of the Mack V8. does anyone know if the 865-866 sounds like the E9 or do they sound different.
  3. I put a cam & lifters in a 237 back in the late 80s early 90s, the 12 lifters where more than the cam. cant remember how much, I was thinking 400 - 500 for the cam, 600 -700 for the lifters
  4. I have seen them on early to mid 90s Ch models.
  5. I work for a county highway dept. they bought 3 2013 Freightliners this spring with cummins power and the fan belt lasted 1500 miles on all 3 of them. the radio Quit working in a month, the seat cushion fell off, they came up put new fan belts on, ( they are coming off again ), fixed the seat but no radio. once they got there money they acted like they didn't want to fix them. they look like they are built even cheaper than the Internationals. and they are ugly at that .
  6. OK Thanks
  7. Would it be a 290 Cummins.
  8. Ok, sorry I cant help you in that department.
  9. Raise the bed up get your knife out an scrape the grease or paint off the pad on the lower right front of the carrier, it will be stamped on there. the later ones are hard to read. I have a 97 cutoff that's got little punch marks.
  10. I have a 96 CH cut off on my B model that had spokes, took the budd hubs off of a 77 Cruiseliner everything was the same. the Cruiseliner had #34000 and the Ch had the #40000 airride with S38000 axles
  11. The ratio is stamped on the flat angle on front right side of the carrier. on another note, they made a 3.86 and a 3.87, it is close but they wont work together. scrape off the grease and see what you have.
  12. Its not that hard to put peanuts and inner cam if that's all it needs. just drop the front driveshaft, remove the 5/8s bolts where the seal is. the yoke and peanuts will pull out.
  13. What engine was in the green & white F model, that has to be the best looking F model I have seen.
  14. The ones that are $13.25 ones, they are the same ones that came on the truck.
  15. My brother bought those lights for his F model. they say KD 516 on them.
  16. Mike if I didn't have so many projects already I would come out and haul that one back.
  17. If the 350 will pull it that must be 100 mph truck. double overdrive,370 gears, on 24.5 tires that thing will fly.
  18. I bet that V8 sounded good pulling the mountains thru the passes, great pictures especially the first picture.
  19. Does any one have an AC bracket for a 865-866 they want to part with, does both engines take the same one. Thanks Ron
  20. I bought a 72 R model from a guy that used to have Mack Trucks of Indy in the 80s dyno tune his 237, it was putting out 248 HP to the wheels when I bought it. he also asked the guy what is the most HP he seen out of a 237,he said he had one that was putting 290 to the ground not flywheel HP.
  21. If they were not, they were under rated, or the cummins were over rated.
  22. The engine could have been changed. what is the numbers after F-700????. 747 would have been 290 cummins or 767 if it had a 350 cummins. does it have an aftercooler.
  23. You forgot Chicago and California too.
  24. I would go for the gas welder, better than flux core welder.
