  1. I played hooky from work friday and went to the US Nationals. there were a ton of old gasers running, great show but hot.saw a lot of runs over 300 MPH in top fuel & funny car. but I liked pro mod. those cars are the best
  2. I was at the museum 2-3 years ago and was talking to a guy that said they used as many parts from the e9 as they could to keep cost down, heads, liners, pistons, don't know what else. I would liked to see the horsepower and torque rating on that engine,i guess we will never know.
  3. Anyone ever heard of an E9 in a RS/RL 700L, I wonder if it would fit, that would be cool.
  4. You are right Al, I have the same issue. inside the front cover it says Dallas, Texas.
  5. Its been a long time since I turned the fuel up on a 250 cummins, but I put a bigger button ( smaller number like 45 compared to a 47). then there is a snap ring that holds the throttle shaft in there, pull the throttle shaft, there is an allen screw in the end, there are little brass shims in there that opens a little hole in the shaft. I don't know if it is the fuel pressure or not but I thought it helped more than the button change. Ron
  6. I would like to know what you guys think is the classiest Mack that was ever made. Ron
  7. Dump a gallon of Lucas in there see if that helps.
  8. That's how I have mine setup, pressure line going to dump trailer.
  9. I installed a wet kit on my B model over the winter so I can run the winch on a lowboy. I used the line from the dump trailer for the pressure side and had to install another return in the other end of the tank so it will circulate,( if you don't the oil will get hot after a while ). works good on both trailers.
  10. Oh,Ok sorry I should been paying more attention.
  11. wasn't the Maxidyne era engines rated at the rear wheels and the Cummins at the flywheel. if so that explains why the ran so good
